Helldivers 2 update 1.002.002 is rolling out on PS5 and PC. According to the official Helldivers 2 version 1.002.002 patch notes, the latest update brings multiple crash fixes and stability improvements. Apart from this, Helldivers 2 patch 1.002.002 also includes gameplay performance improvements.
Previously, a minor Helldivers 2 version 1.000.200 added new environmental hazards and weapon adjustments. Unfortunately, since the release, players are experiencing several issues. The upcoming Helldivers 2 update 1.002.002 will address the remaining issues and bugs.

- Fixed crash when a player leaves while ragdolling and throwing grenades.
- Addressed potential crash during hotjoining illuminate missions.
- Resolved crash during extensive destruction events.
- Fixed crash when reloading a shotgun and entering the FRV MG.
- Fixed crashes occurring when joining or leaving another player’s ship.
- Resolved crash tied to certain explosions.
- Fixed potential crash when calling vehicle stratagems.
- Addressed crash when fighting on colony maps.

Top Priority
- Players are unable to emote when airborne.
- Stratagem balls behave unpredictably when bouncing off cliffs or uneven terrain.
- Balancing and functionality adjustments needed for DSS.
- Matchmaking improvements required to reduce wait times during peak hours.
Medium Priority
- Firebomb Hellpods no longer affect larger enemies like tanks.
- Players may get stuck on Pelican-1’s ramp during extraction.
- High-damage weapons fail to detonate pre-existing Hellbombs.
- Microsoft IME users cannot type Korean, Japanese, or Chinese characters in chat.
- Charge-up weapons may misfire when exceeding their RPM limits.
- Using the “this is democracy” emote on ships may unintentionally eject players into space.
