GT7 1.36 Patch Notes for August Update (4 New Cars)

Sony has released a new GT7 update 1.36 on PS4 and PS5(Version 1.360.000) players. According to the official GT7 1.36 patch notes, the latest GT7 August 2023 update introduces four new cars and various events added to ‘World Circuits’. Apart from this, GT7 patch 1.36 (1.360) also brings new features and adjustments to ‘Brand Central’, ‘Scapes’, and ‘Café’, including engine swaps and new conversations with car designers.

Previously, a major GT7 update 1.23 added 3 new cars and new Scapes. Volkswagen ID. R ’19, Nissan Silvia K’s Type S(S14) ’94 and Porsche Vision Gran Turismo Spyder are now available in-game. Recently, GT7 patch 1.32 added new cars and fixes. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing a number of issues with the game. Today’s GT7 version 1.36 will address a few of these issues.

Main Features Implemented

  1. Cars:
    • Added four new cars: Chevrolet Corvette (C1) ’58, Maserati MC20 ’20, Toyota GR Corolla MORIZO Edition ’22, and Toyota Ambulance Himedic ’21.
    • New livery for Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 ’18.
  2. World Circuits:
    • Added new events: Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta – American Sunday Cup 600, Dragon Trail – Hyper Car Parade, Red Bull Ring – Hyper Car Parade, and High Speed Ring – World Touring Car 800.
  3. Brand Central:
    • Added new brands to the Museum: BAC and Fanatec.
  4. Scapes:
    • Added a ‘Fire Station’ location as a featured Curation.
  5. Café:
    • Added Extra Menus: ‘Collection: Maserati’ (Collector Level 40 and above), ‘Collection: Aston Martin’ (Collector Level 44 and above), and ‘Collection: Kei-Cars’ (Collector Level 27 and above).
    • Added new sets of conversations with the Car Designers and Characters.
  6. GT Auto:
    • Engine Swaps have been added for certain cars (Unlocked at Collector Level 50).

Other Improvements and Adjustments

  1. Physics Simulation Model:
    • Adjusted the replacement conditions for when ‘Replace Car After Leaving Track’ is used.
    • Turned the default settings for Auto Drive to ‘Off’ when ‘Assist Preset Selection’ is set to ‘Intermediate’ in Assist Settings.
  2. Used Cars & Legend Cars:
    • Added a new sales category, ‘Special Picks.’
  3. World Circuits:
    • The recommended car will now be displayed from the hints button (‘i’) on the event information screen.
    • The name of the car manufacturer will now be displayed for races where ‘Regulation (Specified Car)’ is set.
  4. Music Rally:
    • Fixed an issue where progression would sometimes be halted during the following event: DRIFT.
  5. Scapes:
    • Changed the default speed from 80 km/h to 40 km/h when ‘Drift Photography’ is selected.
  6. Lobbies:
    • Fixed several issues related to ‘Good Condition’ cars and settings changes not being reflected after entering the track.
  7. Race Screen:
    • Added an additional zoom level for the weather radar in the Multi-Function Display (MFD).
    • Adjusted the display so that ‘BRAKING ASSIST’ now appears when the auto brake is in use.
  8. Controllers:
    • Fixed several issues related to ‘Vibration Strength’ setting, application errors with specific racing wheels, and game freezing if a wheel is disconnected.
  9. Localisation:
    • Fixed various text localisation issues
    • Addressed various other issues.
