GT7 1.38 Patch Notes (Update Ver. 1.380): New Cars

Sony has released a new GT7 update 1.38 on PS4 and PS5(Version 1.370.000) players. According to the official GT7 1.38 patch notes, the GT7 September update adds three new cars, including a new Mazda Gr.4 Race Car. Apart from this, GT7 patch 1.38 (1.370) also includes various tweaks and changes.

Previously, a major GT7 update 1.23 added 3 new cars and new Scapes. Volkswagen ID. R ’19, Nissan Silvia K’s Type S(S14) ’94 and Porsche Vision Gran Turismo Spyder are now available in-game. Recently, GT7 patch 1.32 added new cars and fixes. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing a number of issues with the game. Today’s GT7 version 1.38 will address a few of these issues.

GT7 1.38 Patch Notes – September 28, 2023

New Cars Galore

The highlight of this update is undoubtedly the introduction of three new cars into the game. These cars promise to add new dimensions to your gaming experience.

1. Custom SEMA Born Beauty

One of the new additions is a custom car that was born at SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association). SEMA is renowned for showcasing unique and modified vehicles, so you can expect this car to be a head-turner. It’s bound to bring a touch of customization and individuality to your racing adventures in Gran Turismo 7.

2. Honda Civic Type R ’22

Honda enthusiasts, rejoice! The iconic Honda Civic Type R from 2022 joins the roster of cars in the game. This sporty and agile vehicle is sure to be a favorite among those who appreciate precision and speed on the virtual track.

3. MAZDA3 Gr.4

Mazda fans are in for a treat with the inclusion of the MAZDA3 Gr.4. This race car promises to deliver a thrilling driving experience, combining the style of a Mazda with the performance of a Gr.4 race car.

Café Gets an Upgrade

Apart from the new cars, Gran Turismo 7’s Café is also getting a revamp. Two extra menus have been added to enhance your gaming experience:

[Extra Menu No. 29] Collection: Porsche Supercars (Collector Level 42 and above)

If you’ve reached Collector Level 42 or above, you can now explore a collection of Porsche Supercars. This menu promises to be a treasure trove for Porsche aficionados.

[Extra Menu No. 30] Collection: GR (Collector Level 39 and above)

For those at Collector Level 39 and above, the GR collection is now available. This menu is likely to contain some fantastic surprises related to GR cars.

Scapes Spots Expand

Lastly, fans of scenic photography in Gran Turismo 7 will be delighted to know that new Scapes Spots are being added to the Nissan section in Brand Central. This expansion opens up more opportunities for stunning in-game photography, allowing you to capture your favorite Nissan cars against breathtaking backdrops.

Other Improvements and Adjustments

1. Race Screen
– Added a ‘Weather Radar’ button to the Quick Menu;
– A countdown is now displayed before a car is replaced when ‘Replace Car After Leaving Track’ is set to ‘On.’

2. Legend Cars
– Legend Cars (Hagerty Collection) prices have been revised based on real-life valuations from Gran Turismo partner, Hagerty. Hagerty provides valuations and vehicle insurance for classic cars and has sponsored some historic car events in recent years. New prices will be applied the next time a vehicle goes on sale. The next price revision is scheduled for January 2024.

3. Localisation
– Fixed various text localisation issues.

4. Others
– Various other issues have been addressed.
