Gran Turismo (GT) Sport update 1.40 is now rolling out for PlayStation 4 players. According to the official GT Sport 1.40 patch notes, the latest update adds five new cars and the “Sardegna – Road Course. In addition, the new Gran Turismo Sport version 1.40 also includes stability and performance improvements.
Previously, a big May update was released with various gameplay improvements. Unfortunately, since the last patch, many players were experiencing a number of issues when trying to play the game. The “Sardegna – Road Course.”
Sardegna – Road Course
Total Length: 5,113m. Elevation Change: 38m. Number of corners: 15. Longest Straight: 915m
A new road course featuring the island of Sardegna, one of a number of Italian resorts on the Mediterranean Sea, is now open for business on Gran Turismo Sport. Using closed-off sections of public roads, this high-speed technical street course is characterized by long, fast straights and tight corners. In particular, the elevation changes through the latter half of the course and the narrow roadway make for a very harrowing drive. Three layouts are offered: A, the longest of the three; B (3,893m), and C (2,661m).
Exclusive X2019 Competition is added to “GT League.”
X2019 Competition Endurance Series (Endurance League)
This is an endurance race for the competition-tuned Red Bull X2019 Competition.
In addition, the following new rounds will be added to GT League:
■ Beginner League
Two new rounds to the “Light Weight K Cup.”
■ Amateur League
Two new rounds to the “Gr. B Rallycross.”
■ Professional League
Two new rounds to the “Group 1 Cup.”
■ Endurance League
One new round to the “Gr.1 Prototype Endurance Series.”

“Goodwood Motor Circuit” will be added to the “Circuit Experience.”
