Going Medieval update 0.12.11 is rolling out on PC(Steam), Epic Games Store, and GOG. According to the official Going Medieval patch notes, the latest update adds various bug fixes and gameplay changes.
Previously, a major update added various quality-of-life changes and gameplay improvements. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues since the last major patch. Today’s Going Medieval patch 0.12.11 will address a few changes.

Going Medieval Patch Notes – February 13, 2023
Bug Fixes
- Several crash occurrences have been resolved.
- The issue of animals getting stuck in specific situations has been resolved. However, if they are still stuck on stairs and slopes, please let the developers know.
- The offsetting of building destruction particles has been fixed.
- The resource requirement info in the toolbar during the usage of the install function has been fixed.
- The issue preventing settlers from repairing buildings that received damage during construction has been resolved.
- The shaking animation that continued even when the game was paused has been fixed.
Known Issues:
- If bookshelves are located above stairs, piles on those shelves may not be registered.
- Settlers may not choose the closest production building, but instead the one that has a production set first in the global list of productions.
- If settlers are experiencing weird animations with some actions, it is recommended to cap the game’s FPS in the options to 60fps. If the issue persists, cap it to 30fps.
