God Of War Update 1.22 Released, Read What’s New and Fixed

God Of War 1.22 update is now rolling out for PlayStation 4 players. According to the official God Of War update 1.22 patch notes, the new update has increased the Text Size globally and allowed further increases via the slider under Accessibility. In addition, a new mapping is available with God Of War version 1.22 for triggering Rage Mode. Recently, Sony’s Santa Monica Studio pushed out update 1.20 with a new Photo Mode which can be accessed either through the Options Menu or by enabling Touch Pad Quick Access. Apart from this, the patch also added an additional controller option to remap Rage Mode and increased the text size in all menus and subtitles.

  • Text size can now be increased on a 100 point scale from 0.0 to 10.0.

Other

  • Rage Mode can be remapped from L3+R3 to X+O.
  • Added fixes for issues related to crashes and stuttering.
  • God Of War version 1.21 added various bug fixes and improvements.

The game devs are also investigating an issue where selecting the “New Game” option from the main menu without closing down the application first may result in missing dialogue and possible progression blockers.
