God Of War PC Patch 1.0.8 Notes (New Changes) – Official

Sony Sant Monica has released yet another God Of War PC patch 1.0.8 for Steam players. According to the official God of War 1.0.8 patch notes, the latest update addressed save game related issue and input devices related crashes. Apart from this, today’s God Of War update 1.0.8 also includes a fix for the Xbox Controllers keybinds.

Previously, a major update was released with various quality of life changes, gameplay adjustments and fixes. Recently, a hotfix was also released to added various optimizations.

Unfortunately, some players are still reporting issues with the game which includes no fullscreen issue in God of War. Today’s God Of War update 1.08 will address a few of these issues.

Bug Fixes

  • Addressed bug where Xbox Controllers were showing incorrect glyphs for joystick keybinds.
  • Fixed an issue where players stuck at item shops. Players can now exit the item shops properly.
  • Addressed input devices related instant crashes.
  • Added a new change to the game where saving the game will now attempt retries if the first try fails.
  • Added an error message that will show if manually saving the game fails.
