A new Generation Zero update 1.37 (The Tactical Response Update) is rolling out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. According to the official Generation Zero 1.37 patch notes, the latest update introduces a customizable Machine Companion called the Runner to assist players in combat against Machines, with features like weapon selection, repairability, inventory, and customization options. Apart from this, Generation Zero version 1.37 also addresses issues with crafting, machines, equipment, gameplay, missions, challenges, UI, and known gameplay and performance issues.
Previously, a major Generation Zero update 1.31 added 4 New South Coast Control Points, Revamped Vesslan Warboard Missions and much more. Unfortunately, since the last major update, some players are still experiencing a number of issues with the game. Today’s Generation Zero patch 1.37 will address a few of these issues.

Bug Fixes
- Crafting
- Fixed a bug where the UI would display billions of schematic points earned, causing the actual schematic points amount to become negative. Affected players have been set back to 0 schematic points.
- Machines
- Fixed a bug where the Tank, Harvester, and Wolf wouldn’t use their Stomp attack.
- Fixed a bug where looting an already owned clothing item using “Loot all” would make the entire loot disappear, particularly prevalent in the Reaper’s loot (known as the “Reaper Loot bug”).
- Minor Visual Fixes
- Fixed minor visual issues with the armor on the Prototype Tank Art.
- Fixed an issue that prevented the Motorbikes’ lights from displaying correctly.
- Equipment and Weapons
- Fixed a bug where shock ammo didn’t create arcs when attached to a machine, significantly reducing its damage output.
- Fixed an issue where some throwables only lasted for half of their intended time after being thrown.
- Fixed a bug where the Homing Turret’s projectile flew in circles around certain enemies. The Homing Turret’s rockets now rotate and adjust their trajectory faster to hit moving targets.
- Gameplay
- Fixed a bug where holding down handbrake + reverse while on a motorbike resulted in forward movement and a jittering animation.
- Mission
- Fixed an issue where weekly procedural missions appeared more often than intended.
- Challenges
- Fixed a bug where Archipelago missions sometimes didn’t count towards the “Important Public Announcement” challenge.
- UI
- Fixed an issue where preview images of the DLC Schematics didn’t match the icons.
