[Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach] FNAF Security Breach update 1.16 is now available to download on PS4, PS5 and PC. According to the official FNAF SB patch notes, the latest update introduces a version mismatch error message, adds Roxy’s VO lines, and enhances haptic feedback. Apart from this, FNAF Security Breach patch 1.16 also fixes various bugs in both the Base Game and RUIN DLC.
Previously, a big update added a new loading screen on the console and various tweaks. Unfortunately, many players are still experiencing a number of issues while playing the game. Base Game Launch Error (PS4)
- Version Mismatch Error: Triggered when Base Game and RUIN DLC versions do not match.
Instructions to Fix Base Game Launch Error
Step 1: Uninstall Security Breach and RUIN
- Find Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach on the system menu.
- Highlight the game tile and press “Options”.
- Select “Delete” and confirm with “OK”.
Step 2: Reinstall Security Breach
- Digital Copy:
- Navigate to “Library” on the system menu.
- Select “Purchased” and find Security Breach.
- Click “Download”.
- Verify the game is Version 1.016 in “Information”.
- Physical Copy:
- Insert the game disc and install.
- Select “Check for Updates” in “Options”.
- Verify the game is Version 1.016 in “Information”.
Step 3: Reinstall RUIN DLC
- Navigate to “PlayStation Store”.
- Search for “Security”.
- Select RUIN DLC tile and click “Download”.
Changes (PS4 and PS5)
- Roxy’s VO Lines: Added during Backstage Office sequence.
- Haptic Feedback: Enhanced for Freddy’s footsteps and added for flashlight toggle.
- Subtitles: Added for Rules Bot in Fazer Blast.
Bug Fixes (PS4 and PS5)
- Daycare Crash: Fixed crash with Moon’s AI in “Let There Be Light”.
- Freddy’s Call and Recharge Issues: Resolved multiple scenarios where Freddy could not be called or use recharge stations.
- Key Bindings: Fixed issue with left column key binds not clearing.
- Freddy’s Power Upgrade: Resolved inevitable player death when pressing pause and Fazwatch buttons simultaneously.
- West Arcade Collision: Adjusted to prevent clipping through walls.
- DJ Music Man Clipping: Fixed model clipping on world geometry.
- Freddy’s Hatch: Resolved issue where it wouldn’t open after saving and reloading.
- Fazer Blast Staff Bots: Fixed issue with bots getting stuck.
- Reticle Issue: Fixed reticle remaining on-screen during cinematics.
RUIN DLC Patch Notes
Changes (PS4 and PS5)
- Roxy’s Spawn: No longer spawns as an M.X.E.S-alerted animatronic in Roxy Raceway Part 1.
Bug Fixes (PS4 and PS5)
- Roxy Jump Scare: Fixed issue with Roxy jump scaring from a distance.
- Key Bind Conflict: Resolved conflict when changing Base Game key binds to RUIN key binds.
- Chica’s Cinematic: Fixed issue where cinematic did not automatically play in Cupcake Prep Room.
- Cassie’s Hands: Fixed disappearing hands during cavern cinematic.

- Gator Golf Floors: Fixed issue with missing floors in Gator Golf.
