Final Fantasy 16 update 1.31 (version 1.003.0001) details released PS5. According to the FFXVI 1.31 patch notes, the latest update introduces new Orchestrion rolls, battle adjustments, and quality of life improvements. Eikonic abilities receive enhancements, and accessory effectiveness is improved. Apart from this, Final Fantasy 16 patch 1.003.001 also addresses various issues, including graphics, quest progression, and NPC interactions.

Previously, a major FFXVI update added quality of life changes. Unfortunately, since the release, some players are experiencing issues. Today’s Final Fantasy 16 version 1.21 (1.003.001) will fix a few of these issues. A future FF16 update 1.004.000 will resolve more issues.

FF16 Update 1.003.001 Patch Notes – April 15, 2024

New In-game Content: Additional Orchestrion rolls are now available in regional shops. The availability of rolls depends on your progress in the main scenario.

Battle Adjustments:

  • Player ATK Increase: Player attack power has been boosted outside of select Eikon battles.
  • Quality of Life UI Additions: User interface enhancements have been made in certain Eikon battles for a smoother experience.

Eikonic Ability & Feat Adjustments:

  • Ramuh’s Eikonic Feat – Blind Justice: Two instances of ball lightning will now be fired when executing this feat. Ball lightning attached to enemies can now be detonated using the feat button instead of attacking. Clive’s movement speed has been increased during Blind Justice, and he can now dodge while using it. Recovery time for Clive’s poise after executing Blind Justice has been shortened.
  • Bahamut’s Eikonic Feat – Wings of Light: Cancelling this feat will now only deplete the Megaflare charge to the next gauge level. Dodging will occur when initiating Wings of Light, and successfully dodging an enemy attack during this initiation will trigger a Megaflare Dodge.
  • Odin’s Eikonic Feat – Arm of Darkness: The parry animation has been updated, and the minimum jump height for initiating Stomp has been lowered.
  • Other Ability Adjustments: Clive’s direction after using Swift Recovery has been adjusted. Limit Break attacks now lift enemies instead of knocking them back.
