EA Games deployed a new FIFA 22 patch 1.27 (Title Update 15) for PC, PS4, PS5(1.000.013), and Xbox One players. According to the official Fifa 22 update 1.27 patch notes, the latest update resolves issues related to audio, visuals, FUT, and more. Apart from this, Fifa 22 update 1.27 also includes fixes for Career Mode.
Previously, a major title update added quality of life changes and gameplay improvements. Fifa 22 servers are currently down. Check FIFA 22 server status here.
Unfortunately, since the last patch, players are experiencing several issues with online gameplay. Today’s Fifa 22 update 1.27 will fix a few of these issues. Read more details below.
FIFA 22 1.27 Patch Notes (1.000.016)
Gameplay
Made the following changes:
- Increased the likelihood of a knuckle ball shot occurring when requesting a high powered shot while the ball is 0.67 meters/2.2 feet away from the ball carrier.
- Added the new Ball Roll Cut 180 Skill Move that can be performed by players with a 4 or 5 star Skill Move rating.

- Significantly reduced the reach of attempted shot blocks by AI controlled players.
- Significantly decreased the range required for a defender to attempt a tackle without being requested to do so.
- Increased the distance between the defender and the ball carrier when the defender is requested to Contain or Teammate Contain.
- Slightly increased the effectiveness of Finesse Shots in potential goalscoring situations in which the ball carrier is not under heavy pressure from a defender or goalkeeper.
- Increased the speed at which the ball travels at following a low or mid powered header.
– Lower powered headers are more likely to produce a lower ball trajectory. - Increased the speed at which the ball travels at following a chipped header.
- Lowered the ball trajectory that can result from a chipped header.
- Slightly increased animation speeds when dribbling, Agile Dribbling, and Strafe Dribbling.
- Slightly increased the animation speed of Reverse Stepover, Stepover, and Body Feint Skill Moves.
- Slightly reduced the reach of attempted shot blocks by human controlled players.
FIFA Ultimate Team
Addressed the following issue:
- The Compare Price functionality did not always provide search results when used on some Stadium and Consumable Items.
VOLTA FOOTBALL
Addressed the following issue:
- One of the default Avatars was not wearing shoes on the selection screen, and if that Avatar was selected, shoes could not be equipped to them.
The following changes were added previously.
FIFA Ultimate Team
Made the following change:
When the Transfer Market is selected, the UI will display recommended Player Items based on the most commonly used Player Items in FUT. This functionality will only be available following a server update.
Career Mode
Addressed the following issue:
- In Player Career, the Virtual Pro did not show up in transfer deadline visuals when transferring clubs on deadline day.
General, Audio, and Visual
Made the following changes:
- Players will no longer instantly disconnect from an online match if the game window goes out of focus. When the game window goes out of focus, the player is considered idle and a timer will count down, causing the player to automatically exit the match if it reaches zero.
- Updated some kits, 2D portraits, and ad boards.
Addressed the following issues:
- Some placeholder visual and UI elements could unintentionally display.
- A rare stability issue could occur when using customized squad files in Career Mode.
