[Final Fantasy XIV] FFXIV patch 10.88 hotfix is available to download on PC, PS4, and PS5(1.000.289) players. According to the official FFXIV 10.88 patch notes, the latest update resolves significant PvP issues, improves raid visibility, and fixes bugs in character creation, gear visuals, and system settings. Today’s FF14 update 10.88 also includes multiple bug fixes.

- The Minstrel’s Ballad: Sphene’s Burden
- Fixed an issue where a Triple Triad card would not drop as a reward.
Raids
- Futures Rewritten (Ultimate)
- Resolved a lag issue with enemy attack displays under certain conditions.
- Adjusted visibility for certain enemy attacks that were difficult to see.
PvP Adjustments
General Fixes
- Status Guard no longer displays as a debuff icon.
- Resolved an issue where Crystalline Conflict custom match target HUD appeared incorrectly.
Warrior
- Fixed Primal Wrath affecting obstructed targets.
Dark Knight
- Resolved KO inconsistencies with Eventide under Undead Redemption.
Gunbreaker
- Corrected the barrier effect of Fated Brand not triggering if the hit failed.
Monk
- Fixed multiple applications of Pressure Point from Wind’s Reply on the same target.
Dragoon
- Prevented temporary invulnerability caused by Sky High execution timing with Down for the Count.
Reaper
- Fixed KO credit issues with Perfectio when other players attacked the same target.
Viper
- Resolved multiple Noxious Gnash effects stacking incorrectly from World-swallower.
Dancer
- Ensured additional effects of dances (e.g., Starfall Dance, Fan Dance) activate properly, even on KOed targets.
Pictomancer
- Resolved damage over time stacking issues with Fanged Muse.
White Mage
- Fixed Seraph Strike not reducing damage taken as intended.
Scholar
- Corrected Adloquium and Biolysis icons not highlighting under Recitation.
Astrologian
- Prevented Lady of Crowns and Lord of Crowns from affecting obstructed targets.
Sage
- Resolved simultaneous cooldown triggers for Icarus and Toxikon.
System Fixes
Character Creation and Appearance Editing
- Fixed shadow interference in The Black Shroud during daytime.
Gear Graphics
- Resolved display errors for certain gear.
Journal and Duty List
- Ensured maps prioritize aetheryte icons over quest markers.
Chat and Party Settings
- Fixed Party and Alliance Chat Name Display Settings applying only to the player in cross-world parties.
- Corrected missing mentor, returner, and new adventurer icons in Novice Network chat.
Opening Movie and Main Scenario Cinematic Progression
- Fixed regression of cinematic progression when switching characters after clearing Patch 7.1 main scenario.
Localization
- Corrected various text inconsistencies.
Previously, a big FFXIV update 6.3 added two new jobs, reaper and sage, an increased level cap of 90, the new male Viera race, and so much more. Unfortunately, since the last major patch, players are facing a long list of bug fixes and gameplay changes.
