FFXIV Update 10.77 Patch Notes (FF14 1.000.277)

[Final Fantasy XIV] FFXIV patch 10.77 hotfix is available to download on PC, PS4, and PS5(1.000.277) players. According to the official FFXIV 10.77 patch notes, the latest update shut down The Shadow data center. Apart from this, today’s FF14 update 10.77 also includes adjustments to travel systems and multiple bug fixes.

Shadow Data Center

• Shutdown of Shadow Logical Data Center:
  The temporary European data center, Shadow, has been closed.
  • Characters on the Shadow data center will be returned to their Home World automatically after maintenance.

Instance Changes

• Removal of Additional Instances:
  Instances added in Patch 7.0 to mitigate congestion in Tuliyollal and Solution Nine have been removed.

Congestion and Login Changes

• Inactivity Auto-Logout Removed:
  The 30-minute inactivity logout feature implemented in Patch 7.0 has been removed.
• Data Center Travel Adjustments:
  The restriction preventing players from logging into a destination world at maximum capacity has been lifted.
  • Data Center Travel/World Visit applications are blocked when maximum capacity is reached.

Bug Fixes

• Combat Fixes:
  • AAC Light-heavyweight M2 (Savage): Fixed erroneous sound effect with Centerstage Combo and Outerstage Combo.
  • AAC Light-heavyweight M4 (Savage): Fixed combat state persisting after Cannonbolt action.
  • AAC Light-heavyweight M4: Corrected mouse targeting radius for the boss.
• Duties:
  • Fixed issue with NPC Urianger failing to move or act during certain conditions in Patch 5.x content.
• Class Abilities:
  • Warrior PvE action Damnation: Description corrected (text-only).
  • Dragoon trait Melee Mastery: Fixed potency description for Wyrmwind Thrust (text-only).
• Gear and Visuals:
  • Dark Knight’s Arm Maleficus: Fixed display issue with Dye 1.
  • Astrologian’s Arm Procyon: Fixed card display issue.
  • Swanliege Coat: Dye application corrected.
  • Furnishing Pile of Gold: Fixed graphic display.
  • Furnishing Waterfall Partition: Fixed sound issue after disabling ambient sounds.
  • Hrothgar hairstyles: Fixed clipping with certain headgear.
  • Miqo’te: Fixed dye and preview issues for Augmented Ninja Hatsuburi headgear.
  • Miqo’te (Male): Fixed Saintly Style hairstyle display with certain emotes.
• General Graphics Fixes:
  • Fixed a waterfall display issue in a specific area.
  • NPC E-Sumi-Yan: Eye graphics corrected.
  • Backroom in Solution Nine: Fixed emote display issues.
• Miscellaneous:
  • Fixed crystal acquisition rate for level 100 retainers in quick exploration ventures.
  • Corrected the location listing for Blade’s Exaltation Orchestrion Roll.
  • Fixed issue where blacklisted characters could join recruitment.
  • Currency Settings window: Fixed issue where selections reverted after logging in.
  • Addressed various minor text issues.

Previously, a big FFXIV update 6.3 added two new jobs, reaper and sage, an increased level cap of 90, the new male Viera race, and so much more. Unfortunately, since the last major patch, players are facing a long list of bug fixes and gameplay changes.
