Factorio Update 2.0.23 Patch Notes (December 2, 2024)

Factorio update 2.0.23 is rolling out on PC(Steam). According to the official Factorio patch notes, the latest update addresses crashes during exit, scaling, and crafting. Apart from this, Factorio patch 2.0.23 also includes stability improvements.

Previously, a major Factorio update 1.1.75 added various fixes for crashes and more. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues since the last major patch. Today’s Factorio patch 2.0.23 will address a few of these errors.

Bug Fixes

Quality Selector Issues:
- Fixed missing quality selector in infinity chest GUI if qualities are locked.
- Addressed quality cycling glitches in unfocused windows.
Rocket Silo:
- Fixed second rocket destruction during silo upgrades.
- Corrected item request limits exceeding silo inventory size.
Space Platform:
- Fixed items stuck during thrust calculation with deconstruction.
- Resolved collision issues with slow asteroid chunks.
Robots:
- Fixed module upgrade cancellations and incorrect delivery to marked upgrades.
- Addressed network gaps preventing robot navigation.
Gameplay Crashes:
- Fixed crashes with ghost tanks, blueprint book deletion, and Steam achievements in minimal mode.
- Corrected crash issues in specific tips and tricks scenarios.
Sound and Visuals:
- Resolved persistent sound issues for tanks and robots.
- Fixed incorrect rendering of light sprites and choppy fog animations in long saves.
GUI and Interaction:
- Addressed inconsistencies in bonus GUI, train logistics settings, and Quick Panel labels.
- Corrected issues with renaming train stops and surface list height on remote view.
- Fixed on-screen keyboard appearance in certain tips and tricks.
Other Fixes:
- Resolved infinite resource production halts and incorrect item stack handling by inserters.
- Fixed problems with transport belts, artillery tooltips, and item sort in spidertron inventory.
