ESO Update 2.47 Patch Notes for PS4 (ESO 2.47)

[Elder Scrolls Online] ESO version 2.47 is rolling out on PS4, PS5 (1.008.002), and Xbox One. According to the official ESO 2.47 patch notes, the latest update addresses issues related to combat, abilities, quests, items, crafting stations, and more. Apart from this, ESO update 2.47 also enhances gameplay experiences and delivers a smoother and more enjoyable adventure for players.

Previously, a major ESO update 36 added Legacy of the Bretons adventure: Firesong DLC to the game where you can explore the island of Galen and dive deep into the culture and histories of Tamriel’s druids. While doing so, collect new item sets, unique collectibles, Antiquities, achievements, and more. The upcoming ESO update 38 details also been released.

Unfortunately, players are reporting several problems with the game. Today’s ESO version 2.46 will solve a few of these problems. Check out more details below.

Arcanist

  • Slowed down the rotation speed of the Crux icons help reduce any potential motion sickness issues.
  • Crux is no longer permanent while outside of combat and instead has a 30 second duration.
  • Curative Runeforms
    • Chakram Shields: Fixed an issue where the damage shields from different morphs of this ability could stack.

Mundus Stones

  • Fixed an issue where Mundus Stones could fail to load properly on login.
  • Fixed a rare issue where some Mundus Stones could have their effects canceled if you were interrupted at the precise time of applying them.
  • Reduced the Critical Chance rating granted from The Thief Mundus Stone to 1212, down from 1333, so it fits properly within power budgets of other stones.

Quests

  • Azandar al-Cybiades
    • Tempting Fates: Updated the quest guide pins to be clearer on where you need to go in the Riften Mages Guild to progress the quest.
  • Sharp-as-Night
    • Dim and Distant Pasts: Sharp will no longer stay rooted in place if your character dies before talking to him outside of Broken Tusk in Shadowfen.
    • The Fateweaver Key:
      • Fixed an issue where you could see multiple Azandars belonging to other players in the same spot of Ciphers Midden.
      • Fixed an issue where Azandar would not properly animate when casting his tracking spell in Ciphers Midden.

Rapport

  • Sharp now correctly gives rapport when looting a heavy sack.

Sanity’s Edge Trial

  • Ansuul the Tormentor
    • Players affected by Manic Phobia may no longer be the target of Ansuul’s Sunburst attack.
    • After raising the Challenge Banner, players attuned and inside of a Torment stage, as well as those recently resurrected, may no longer be affected by Ansuul’s Sunburst attack.
    • Enraged Fragments now leave a consumable corpse upon defeat.

  • Fixed an issue where a portal would constantly stay open in Leramil’s Study in Cipher’s Midden.
  • Updated several quest-specific books to be available after the quest to assist with Eidetic Memory.

Main Story

  • An Unhealthy Fate: Revised the post-boss sequence in the Mythos to make it easier to use the Black Book and to progress the quest.
  • Truer Words: Added a map pin to help guide you during the quest step “Search for the Fate Anomaly.”

Quests

  • A Memory of Mystery: Updated several lines of dialogue that weren’t originally configured to play during the quest.
  • Manifesting Hope: Fixed an issue where you would see incorrect tallies if doing this quest while in a group.

Delves & Public Dungeons

  • Staxuira in Gorne will no longer remain invisible if killed while teleporting.

  • Fixed a crash that could occur if you are logged out or disconnected while controlling a siege engine.

General Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue causing characters to be unable to perform certain actions, like looting, after killing a target.
  • Addressed problems with Arcanist abilities, ensuring Apocryphal Gate no longer causes clients to become unresponsive, and Chakram Shields’ damage shields no longer stack.
  • Fixed loading issues with Mundus Stones on login and addressed a rare bug where their effects could be canceled if interrupted during application.
  • Reduced Critical Chance rating from The Thief Mundus Stone for proper balancing.

2. Quests and Content Fixes:

  • “Adversarial Adventures” quest behavior improved when repeatedly dismissing and summoning Azandar in the Nchuleftingth sequence.
  • “The Fateweaver Key” quest issues fixed, including multiple Azandars appearing and animation problems in Ciphers Midden.
  • “The Lunacy of Two Moons” quest fixed to prevent hanging on “Wait for <spoiler>” and causing portal spawn issues.
  • Renamed “Sporecrafter’s Mushroom Stamp” to “Sporecrafter’s Press.”
  • Various fixes and improvements for quests, dungeons, and world bosses.

3. Crafting Stations Fixes:

  • The Fortified Brass and Innate Axiom Attunable Jewelry Stations now attune correctly.
  • Issues with Dauntless Combatant and Unchained Aggressor set crafting stations, as well as New Moon Acolyte and Daring Corsair set crafting stations, have been resolved.

4. Miscellaneous Fixes:

  • PvP leaderboards no longer get stuck periodically and display inaccurately.
  • Campaign scoring now displays correctly.
  • Multi-rider mounts no longer disappear incorrectly.
  • Crown Crates are no longer partially invisible on Mac clients.
  • Various fixes related to animations, hairstyles, and Crown Crafting Motif descriptions.
  • Scroll bar display issues in the keyboard UI for crafting stations have been fixed.
  • Addon-related crash when calling a script with a bad index has been resolved.

General Fixes

  • PvP leaderboards no longer get stuck periodically, and campaign scoring displays accurately.

  • Crown Crates no longer become partially invisible on Mac clients.
  • The description for the “Crown Crafting Motif: House Mornard” bundle now provides additional ways to acquire the Motif in-game.

3. Crafting Stations User Interface Fix:

  • The keyboard UI for various crafting stations now correctly displays a scroll bar for the Provisioning or Furnishing recipe lists.

4. Addons Fixes:

  • A crash related to a script calling GetMapIdByIndex with a bad index has been fixed.
