A new Escape From Tarkov update 1.0.0.5 is now available to download on PC(Steam). According to the official Tarkov patch notes, the latest update fixes persistent loading wheel, movement and camera locks, Batya chapter progression, Lighthouse spawn points, and weapon/loot lock issues. Apart from this Escape From Tarkov patch 1.0.0.5 also updated UI layouts, corrected item icon display, resolved audio artifacts, improved BTR movement, and addressed various localization, geometry, and interface bugs.

General Fixes

Fixed the loading wheel icon remaining visible during the starting mission.

Fixed abrupt interruption issues affecting consumable item animations.

Smoothed out BTR movement for more stable traversal.

Fixed multiple visual geometry bugs across all locations.

Combat & Interaction Fixes

Fixed camera lock and character movement lock triggered by consuming items before the second Terminal cutscene.

Fixed a lock preventing weapon operations and looting after looting a character killed while using a stationary weapon.

Fixed the inability to complete a specific task in the Batya story chapter in PvE mode.
Environment & Spawn Fixes

Fixed incorrect spawn points for Zryachiy and his guards on Lighthouse.

Fixed item icon display issues when trading with active filters.
