Elden Ring update 1.017 is available to download on PS5, PC and Xbox. According to the official Elden Ring 1.017 patch notes, the latest update resolves framerate issue on PS5 and PC. Apart from this, today’s Elden Ring version 1.017.000 also fixes false “Inappropriate activity” errors on PC.

Bug Fixes
- Resolved an issue where temporary player stat boosts persisted after restarting the game.
- Various other minor bug fixes.
Performance Improvements
PS5:
- Unstable framerate may be improved by using the “Rebuild Database” option in the PS5’s Safe Mode.
PC:
- Ray Tracing may unintentionally activate, causing performance issues. Players should check “Ray Tracing Quality” under “System” > “Graphics” in both the title screen and in-game menu.
- Framerate drops may be caused by third-party applications controlling mouse behavior. Disabling these apps could stabilize performance.
Error Fix
- For PC players seeing the “Inappropriate activity detected” message without cheating, verifying the game’s file integrity before restarting may resolve the issue.
Previously, a major Elden Ring update 1.08 added new changes, adjustments, and improvements. Unfortunately, players are still facing issues with the game. Elden Ring patch 1.017 will fix a few of these issues.
