According to the official Elden Ring 1.016 patch notes, the latest update resolves gameplay issues with weapon attacks, stability improvements on PS5 and PC, and fixes various visual and audio bugs, Apart from this, today’s Elden Ring version 1.016.000 also fixes rendering issues and sound effects errors.

Gameplay Fixes
Shadow Keep Church District: Fixed a bug where the cutscene would replay upon re-entering the area.
Golem Fist Weapon:
Fixed a bug where some Golem Fist weapon attacks failed to deal damage under certain conditions.
Adjusted the one-handed heavy attack power to expected levels.
Aspects of the Crucible: Thorns: Fixed a bug that prevented casting the incantation when used in quick succession.
Smithing Talisman: Resolved an issue where the effect did not apply to some weapon throwing attacks.
Scadutree Avatar Battle Arena: Fixed a bug preventing the use of ashes in certain areas of the arena.
Rellana, Twin Moon Knight: Fixed unpredictable behavior when interacting with objects during battles.
Skills and Weapons Combination: Resolved a bug that allowed skills to be used with incorrect weapon combinations.
Visual and Audio Fixes
Fixed unexpected rendering and behavior of some enemies.
Addressed issues with sound effects not playing correctly.

Stability and Performance Improvements
PS5 Stability: Unstable framerate may be improved by using the “Rebuild Database” option in the device’s Safe Mode.
PC Version Performance:
Ray Tracing may unintentionally enable, affecting performance. Players are advised to check the setting under “System” > “Graphics” > “Ray Tracing Quality.”
Fixed an issue where the message “Inappropriate activity detected” could appear without any cheating involved.
Previously, a major Elden Ring update 1.08 added new changes, adjustments, and improvements. Unfortunately, players are still facing issues with the game. Elden Ring patch 1.016 will fix a few of these issues.
