Elden Ring Save Game File Location and Download Links

Elden Ring is now available on PC(Steam) and consoles. Unfortunately, since the release, players are experiencing various issues including a bug where Elden Ring failed to load save data. Today we have posted details on how to access Elden Ring save location for Steam.

Read more details below.

Elden Ring Save File Corruption and Death loop issue.

There’s an exploit going around on PC where hackers will corrupt your save file while you’re invaded. First, they will crash your game, and when you open it back up, your character will be constantly falling to their death.

Workaround: Press Alt+F4 to kill the program before the character’s death and then immediately hit the map button once the game loads back up. If done correctly, and the player gets lucky, they’ll teleport safely to a Site of Grace.

If the above workaround fails for you, you can download the save file from the link below.

Elden Ring Save data conflict with Steam Cloud

Players are currently facing an issue where save data is not being saved correctly to the Steam Cloud under certain conditions. If this happens, you will see an error message at game launch, stating that your local save files conflict with the ones stored in the Steam Cloud (see example message below).
If this happens, please check carefully the last update date and time of each save, then select the saved data you want to keep and complete the synchronization.

To load the save file from the Cloud, Select ‘Download to this machine’ to the right of ‘Cloud Files’.

To load your local save file, Select ‘Upload to the STEAM Cloud’ to the right of ‘Local files’.

*The “Cloud Files” are saved data uploaded from your local machine at the time and date indicated in the “Last update” section.

Note: A fix for this issue is now live. Read more details here.
