EA FC 26 PS4 Update 1.21 Patch Notes (Patch 1.5.3)

EA FC 26 update 1.21 is available to download on PS4, PC and Xbox One. The latest FC 26 version 1.21 improves match realism by addressing time-wasting behavior, fixes key search and UI issues, and enhances Career Mode clarity. Additionally, FC 26 patch 1.21 also fixes several gameplay logic errors and visual elements issues.

Summary

• Goalkeepers now clear the ball after repeated time-wasting backpasses.
• Transfer market search and celebration preview issues were fixed in Ultimate Team.
• Career Mode improvements added clearer UI details and automatic watchlist tracking.
• Multiple manager, league placement, and text display errors were corrected.
• General visual updates and stability improvements were implemented.

Gameplay

• Goalkeepers now kick the ball out of play if players repeatedly pass back to waste time.
• Change targets rare unrealistic scenarios and does not affect normal backpasses.

Ultimate Team

• Fixed an issue where certain kits and badges could not be found in the transfer market search.
• Resolved a problem where some Player Celebration previews failed to display.

Career Mode

• Added a missing divider in European competition tables to better show playoff qualification spots.
• Applying for a job now automatically adds that team to the watchlist.
• Added labels beside team crests in challenges to clearly identify men’s and women’s teams.
• Updated challenge completion screen with clearer details on saves and career progress.
• Managers with low job security at the end of a season are now moved to an Okay status.
• Fixed cases where managers were assigned to the wrong team when selecting Icons and Heroes during career setup.
• Resolved an issue where ICON players could request unusually low wages in negotiations.
• Corrected situations where a league champion was placed into the wrong European competition.
• Fixed instances of incorrect or overlapping text.

General, Audio, and Visual

• Updated select names, overlays, kits, sponsors, crests, banners, scarves, flags, logos, hairstyles, boots, star heads, and ad boards.
• Resolved various stability problems that could occur during gameplay.

Previously, a major FC 26 update 1.06 added quality of life changes and tweaks. Unfortunately, since the last patch, players have been experiencing several issues with online gameplay. Today’s FC 26 version 1.21 will fix a few of these issues.
