EA has released a new FC 26 update 1.06 is available to download on PS4, PC, Switch and Xbox One. According to the official FC 26 1.06 patch notes, the latest update improves defensive shape at kick offs and balances shooting mechanics. Apart from this, FC 26 patch 1.06 also fixes several bugs in Ultimate Team, Career Mode, and PC-specific performance.

Kick Off Defensive Positioning

Defending teams now form more compactly for a short period after kick off.

Shooting Adjustments

Reduced accuracy of Acrobatic shots performed immediately after a Rainbow Flick.

Fixed cases where players took a Trivela Shot at the keeper instead of a lace shot.
Ultimate Team

Corrected incorrect Bios appearing on Gold Player Items.

Fixed issue where Ultimate Edition players needed to restart the game to claim the Season 1 Premium Pass.
