Dying Light 2 Update 1.16 Patch Notes (1.016) – August 23, 2022

Dying Light 2 update 1.16 is now rolling out on PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox players. According to the official Dying Light 2 1.16 patch notes, the latest update added new features, new mode, new options and much more. Apart from his Dying Light 2 patch 1.16 also includes various tweaks and changes.

Previously, a major patch added a new Photo mode and other quality of life changes to the game.

Unfortunately, some players are still facing bugs and various issues with the coop and multiplayer. Today’s Dying Light 2 version 1.16 will fix a few of these issues.

New Options

  • Added a new Color Grading option in Video settings.
  • Added possibility to toggle Chromatic Aberration [on/off]

General improvements

  • Various graphical improvements, including new screen space ambient occlusion [SSAO] implementation.
  • Various image clarity improvements, including new temporal anti-aliasing [TAA] implementation and improved texture filtering.
  • Weapon mods can now include weapons’ maximum durability.

PC Only

  • Added AMD FSR 2.0 support.
  • Improved management of GPU memory in DirectX 12 mode, especially when Ray-Racing is enabled.

Changes to Infected

  • More Biter are now roaming the The City.
  • Biters are now more aggressive at night.
  • Virals are now much more vigilant and will leave their hideouts more eagerly if they hear a fight newarby.
  • You will encounter more Special Infeacted at night.
  • Be wary of Dark Hollows and Forsken Stores during the day encounters there can be quite Volatile.

PS5

  • Added balanced mored
  • Added variable Refresh Rate support for Performance Mode
  • Resoulution Mode works in vative 4K/30 FPS.
