Destiny 2 update 8.0.5.2 is rolling out on PS4(Version 3.36), PC, PS5, Xbox One, and PC players. According to the Destiny 2 update 8.0.5.2 patch notes, the latest update brings Exotic Class Items at Xûr. Apart from this, Destiny 2 patch 8.0.5.2 also includes general stability fixes.

Activities
Crucible
- Trials of Osiris
- Updated the Special ammo rules for Trials of Osiris.
- Players will no longer spawn with one kill’s worth of Special ammo at the beginning of the round.
- A second set of Special ammo crates will now spawn at two fixed neutral locations 10 seconds before the Dominion zone becomes active.
- Each crate will still grant a single kill’s worth of ammo.
- Updated the Special ammo rules for Trials of Osiris.
Gameplay and Investment
Armor
- Osmiomancy Gloves & Spirit of Osmiomancy
- Fixed an issue where Coldsnap grenades were not consistently granting energy back when used against Champions.
- Added an unkindled (non-glow) version of the Solstice 2024 Sublime armor as universal ornament options for Hunters and Titans (see note below).
- For players that have unlocked the armor glows for these sets during this year’s Solstice, both versions will be available to unlock in the appearance screen. If a player has not unlocked the glows, they will not be able to view the unkindled ornaments.
- Note: We’ve identified a last-minute issue where the unkindled ornaments are not appearing on Warlocks. Additionally, these ornament selections do not currently have text strings. We plan to fix this in a future update.
Weapons
- General
- Fixed an issue where after acquiring all six of the Salvation’s Edge weapon patterns, Adept weapons did not drop with a third perk in the right trait column.
- Glaives
- Fixed an issue where Glaives had their melee damage reduced.
- Graviton Lance
- Fixed an issue where Graviton Lance’s RPM was unintentionally nerfed.
- Fortunate Star
- Fixed an issue where the Fortunate Star Bow was showing incorrect stat values on the inspection screen.
Xûr Inventory Update
- Wildcard Offer Relocation: Wildcard offers (Ritual Engrams, Exotic Ciphers, Raid Banners) moved to Strange Offers category.
- Exotic Class Items:
- Available starting August 23.
- Cost: 41 Strange Coins.
- Requirement: Unlock regular acquisition path through the Dual Destiny mission for each character.
- Rolls: Random rolls for Exotic Class Items.
- If not available, Exotic Cipher (79 Strange Coins, one per account) will be offered as an alternative.
- Xûr Inventory Rotation: Exotic Class items guaranteed in the first week; after that, items will rotate randomly.
Trials of Osiris Update
- Aisha’s Care (Adept):
- Returns as the Flawless reward starting August 20.
- Available during the weekend event for players who go Flawless.
- Improved Passage of Persistence:
- Losses no longer remove wins when using a fireteam of three.
- Map Rotation:
- August 20: Dissonance.
- August 23: Cirrus Plaza.
Solstice Event
- Bear Walker Skateboard: Limited-edition skateboard available via Bungie Rewards.
- Limited run of 1,000 units, each uniquely numbered.

Previously, Destiny 2 update 7.1 changes for the economy, weapon sandbox, abilities, exotic armor, quality of life, crucible, and enemy elemental shields. Today’s Destiny 2 update 3.35 will fix a few of these issues.
