Destiny 2 Update Patch Notes (v3.17)

Destiny 2 update is available to download on PS4(v3.17), PC, PS5, Xbox One, and PC players. According to the Destiny 2 update patch notes, the latest update stability fixes and changes. Apart from this, Destiny 2 patch also includes gameplay performance improvements.

Previously, Destiny 2 update 7.1 changes for the economy, weapon sandbox, abilities, exotic armor, quality of life, crucible, and enemy elemental shields. Today’s Destiny 2 update will fix a few of these issues.

Addressed the following issues.


  • Players can now reacquire the Chivalric Fire Legendary Sword from Collections.
    • Another fix will be implemented in Update 7.3.5, so this weapon can be pulled from Collections fully Masterworked.


Stormcaller Warlock

  • Fixed an issue where the Ball Lightning melee projectile could fail to spawn when activated immediately after canceling a slide.


  • Adjusted requirements for Riven’s Wishes.
  • Fixed an issue where Exotic armor pieces available as Riven’s Wishes rewards would show their base stats from Collections.
  • Fixed an issue where the Supernova Sprint Triumph would not unlock for players that complete the Starcrossed Exotic mission in less than 20 minutes.
  • The Supernova Sprint Triumph can only be completed if players finish the Starcrossed Exotic mission in less than 15 minutes instead of 20.
  • Sliding and shooting a weapon while surged cancels the effects of the Lightning Surge Aspect.
  • The Promethium Spur Exotic is gaining less class ability energy than intended from Solar weapon kills.
  • The “Tying It All Together” quest from Ada-1 may not successfully grant players their Glimmer reward if they already have over 250,000 Glimmer in their inventory.
  • For Titans, Revitalizing Blast is not weakening Champions or bosses if the Consecration Solar Aspect is equipped.
