Dead by Daylight update 8.500.200 details are now available for PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox One. According to the official DBD update 8.500.200 patch notes, the latest 8.5.2 update brings a rework for The Nightmare, a limited-time 2V8 event, and various perk, UI, and audio improvements. Apart from this, DBD patch 8.500.200 also addresses Killer abilities, map glitches, and matchmaking issues, alongside performance optimizations for smoother gameplay.

Bug Fixes
Survivor & Killer Interactions
- Reduced Survivor’s Herb interaction snap time.
- Fixed a bug causing Killers to get stuck after the End Game Collapse if a bot was trapped in a cage.
- Fixed a missing Survivor struggle animation when interrupted by Deathslinger’s harpoon while getting vaccinated.
- Resolved an issue where Survivors briefly floated before being caged by Naughty Bear.
- Fixed unintended access to crates in Raccoon City Police Station.
- Corrected the Event Entry Screen referring to “Raccoon City Police Department” instead of “Raccoon City Police Station.”
Audio Fixes
- Restored missing movement sounds for the Tortured Souls outfit on The Huntress, The Plague, The Blight, and The Knight.
- Fixed incorrect footstep sounds for Killers on Dead Dawg Saloon.
- Resolved an issue where Slice & Dice charge scream failed to resume after a Scamper Vault or Pallet.
- Fixed The Spirit’s Husk SFX playing incorrectly while phase-walking.
- Corrected Legion’s Feral Frenzy grunt sound playing twice.
Character Fixes
- Fixed Rose Marigold outfit’s skirt clipping through the Survivor’s legs.
- Resolved a visual issue with The Knight’s Rift weapon and its Deep Rift variant.
- Removed empty nodes in Dark Lord’s Bloodweb.
- Fixed The Nightmare teleporting beyond the Exit Gate with Class Photo add-on in Greenville Square.
- Adjusted The Nightmare’s Dream Pallet shimmer intensity.
- Fixed Executioner’s Wax Doll and Black Strap add-ons having the same effect.

- Fixed Nemesis’ zombies becoming invulnerable if hit right after spawning.

- Fixed camera clipping when spawning near the tree tile on Coldwind Farm.
- Resolved a bug in Mother’s Dwelling where the Killer could land inside a tree after lunging from the balcony.
- Adjusted Dream Snares in Raccoon City Police Station to pass through walls properly.
- Fixed invisible collision issues affecting Plague’s Vile Purge near exit gates in multiple maps.
- Added a missing pallet in Decimated Borgo Maze Tile.
- Fixed Dream Snare interaction issues in Treatment Theatre.
UI Fixes
- Fixed player names and invite buttons disappearing in the Lobby after returning from the Archives.
- Restored Beginner Mode Tooltips when hovering over Loadout slots.
Previously, a big Dead by Daylight update 5.4.0 was released which added a new Killer (The Onryō) and a new survivor (Yoichi Asakawa). Unfortunately, players are facing various issues with the game. Today’s Dead by Daylight patch 8.500.200 will address a few of these issues.
