Dead by Daylight update 8.300.200 details are now available for PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox One. According to the official DBD update 8.300.200 patch notes, the latest update fixes for numerous bugs, particularly affecting Halloween events, characters, and maps, have been resolved for smoother gameplay.. Apart from this, DBD patch 8.300.200 also re-enables the Flashbang perk and Firecracker items.

Event Updates
- Flashbang perk and Firecracker items re-enabled.
- Haunted By Daylight Event Tome:
- Level 2 opened on October 24th at 11:00 am ET.
- Level 3 opens on October 31st at 11:00 am ET.
- Bloodpoint values increased for several Haunted By Daylight scoring events.
Killer Updates
The Skull Merchant (Basekit Changes)
- Reverted movement speed while inspecting Radar to 4.6 m/s.
- The Skull Merchant now sees scan lines from Drones at all times.
- Aura of scan lines visible within 32 meters of Drones when inspecting Radar.
Killer Perk Updates
- Machine Learning: Effect duration reduced to 35/40/45 seconds (previously 40/50/60 seconds).
- Predator: Aura reveal duration decreased to 4 seconds (was 6 seconds).
- Zanshin Tactics: Aura reveal duration reduced to 3/4/5 seconds (previously 6/7/8 seconds).
Survivor Perk Updates
- Distortion: Time to regain a token reduced to 15 seconds in chase (previously 30 seconds).
- Inner Focus: Now only triggers from Killer-caused health state loss.
- We’re Gonna Live Forever: Heal speed reverted to 100% (was 150%).
Bug Fixes
Halloween Event
- Fixed issue where Killers could perform a basic attack immediately after a Captured Haunt.
- Corrected the Void Empowered tracker not updating when a Haunt is used post-pickup.
- Addressed multiple icon and VFX issues related to Haunted by Daylight outfits and items.
Characters
- Fixed several issues with Mori animations in first-person view.
- Resolved bugs with The Dark Lord’s abilities, such as cooldown increases and Hellfire usage through walls.
- Fixed issues causing Skull Merchant’s drones and other killer abilities to malfunction.
Environment/Maps
- Fixed breakable wall issues in maps like Disturbed Ward and Coal Tower.
- Fixed camera and Mori finisher feature issues.
- Addressed AI navigation and map adaptation bugs across various levels.
Previously, a big Dead by Daylight update 5.4.0 was released which added a new Killer (The Onryō) and a new survivor (Yoichi Asakawa). Unfortunately, players are facing various issues with the game. Today’s Dead by Daylight patch 8.300.100 will address a few of these issues.
