D2R Update 1.35 Patch Notes (Diablo 2 Resurrected patch 3.1.1)

[Diablo 2 Resurrected] D2R update 1.35 is now available to download on PS4, PS5, and Xbox One. According to the D2R 3.1.1 patch notes, the latest update delivers stability improvements, UI corrections, Chronicle fixes, and multiple Switch-specific crash resolutions to ensure smoother gameplay and cleaner interface behavior. Additionally, today’s D2R patch 1.35 also includes quality of life changes and fixes.

D2R Update 3.1.1 Patch Notes – February 19, 2026

Bug Fixes

General

• Fixed an issue with VFX distortion in Chronicle’s backlight when applied on Amazon.
• Fixed the game client freezing.
• Fixed a crash when interacting with the available game list with mouse and keyboard.
• Fixed not being able to craft ‘Mosaic’ runeword online non-ladder.
• Fixed Diablo Lightning Breath to hit characters at point blank range.
  • Note: This was fixed earlier with Patch 3.1.

UI

• Fixed Mania runeword improperly appearing in the Chronicle as Hustle.
• Fixed tooltip for Apocalypse ability.
• Fixed title screen error from appearing.
• Fixed an issue where the Chronicle text appears as ‘eligible’ for items that have already been discovered.

Console

• Fixed an issue where player would get locked on ‘Ladder Board’ UI after docking or undocking the Nintendo Switch®.
• Fixed a crash when searching Chronicle on Nintendo Switch®.
• Fixed crash from Docking or Undocking while on Options ‘Brightness’ or ‘Screen Space’ when playing on Nintendo Switch®.
• Fixed crash when connecting the Nintendo Switch® to a Dock with the Loot Filter’s ‘Edit rule’ tab open.
• Fixed an overlap issue with UI on handheld platforms when using mouse and keyboard

• Addressed game crashing issues.
• Addressed game loading and saving issues.
• Fixed issue where players were unable to join games due to being in different regions.
• Fixed issue where Steam players were not receiving their cross-promotional items.

Known Issues

Warlock

• Blood Oath damage transfer to the demon is uncapped
• Blood Oath was not falling off after respec of character skills
• Eldritch Blast Life Steal and Mana Steal are capped at 20%
• Apocalypse is displaying a negative Fire Resist above the 40% cap
• Casting certain skills while inside any town will make the weapon’s animation flicker
• The Longbow’s arrow moves after the player stops moving with the Warlock class

Chronicle

• Chronicle menu crashes game when changing to Controller on PC if opened through the discovered item message in chat
• Hustle was replaced by Hysteria (Chest) and Mania (Weapon). The Mania version is still showing as Hustle in the Chronicle
• There is a visual bug in the Chronicle’s backlight unique item reward when applied to the Amazon
• Eligible for chronicle string appears for players who already have the item

Mosaic

• Mosaic can cause graphical issues that will lead to a crash if used in Chaos Sanctuary
• Mosaic can only be crafted offline

Miscellaneous

• Subtabs from the Pause Menu can be overlaid on handheld platforms when using mouse and keyboard
• Vendors are not selling enough daggers
• Latent Sunder Charms are not rolling values in their affixes
• Resolution Scale option is different from the displayed resolution on game start
• We are aware and investigating rare client lockups after extended periods of playing

Platform Issues

• The game crashes after attempt to access Global Rank or Class Rank of another player on ROG and Steamdeck on ‘Release Mode’
• Player gets locked on ‘Ladder Board’ UI after docking or undocking Switch
• Docking or Undocking on Options ‘Brightness’ or ‘Screen Space’ will cause a crash/lock.
• Chronicle Search feature asserts Nintendo Switch
• Connecting the Nintendo Switch to a Dock with the Loot Filter’s ‘Edit rule’ tab open causes an crash/lock
• Disconnecting the console from the Internet causes the title to enter an unresponsive state when attempting to create an online lobby after reconnecting
• The title displays an error message after the network is disconnected and title is left idle in the main menu on the PS4, PS4 Pro
• The game may crash/lockwhen saving and exiting after staying idle on the death screen of the Uber Ancients fight on the PS4 Pro
• An issue impacting Diablo II: Resurrected Infernal Edition bonus incentives for Diablo IV and World of Warcraft, where some players who purchase on Steam may not see these items unlock immediately. Our team is actively working on a fix, and eligible rewards will automatically unlock once resolved.

Previously, an update was released that added queue functionality to consoles. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing login and server issues. Today’s D2R version 1.35 will address a few of these issues.
