CS2 Update Details (CS2 Patch Notes) on July 3 2025

Counter Strike 2 (CS2) update is available to download on PC. According to the official CS2 update patch notes, the Austin 2025 Major brings new content and improvements, including the release of Team Vitality’s Champions Autographs Capsule and Highlight Souvenir Packages for playoff matches. Voice chat is now enabled in lobbies and during Premier pick/ban phases. Additionally, today’s CS2 patch also fixes map reload issues, command errors, and Japanese scoreboard formatting.

Gameplay & Content Updates

Champions Autographs & Souvenirs

• Champions Autographs Capsule is now available for purchase, celebrating Team Vitality.

• Highlight Souvenir Packages can now be obtained for Playoff matches of the Austin 2025 Major.

Miscellaneous Updates

Voice Chat Enhancements

• Added in-game lobby voice chat.

• Enabled voice chat during Premier Pick/Ban phase.

Bug Fixes & Improvements

• Fixed incorrect command flows in point_servercommand entities.

• Resolved issue with community maps not reloading properly using the "restart" command.

• Buy binds are now disabled during the halftime freeze period.

• Fixed scoreboard column text formatting issues for the Japanese language.
