Conan Exiles update 2.04 is available to download on PS4, PC, PS5, and Xbox One. According to the official Conan Exiles 2.04 patch notes, the latest update addresses target switching, NPC base respawns, and fixes instant death locations. Sprinting continuity and inventory management improvements enhance gameplay. Apart from this, today’s Conan Exiles version 2.04 also updated friendly thralls’ behavior and gamepad storage navigation.
Previously, a major Conan Exiles update 1.92 added Age of War update includes new features such as Clan Emblems and Hoards, as well as a significant rebalance to the combat systems. Unfortunately, since the last patch 1.96, players are still having various issues with the game. Today’s Conan Exiles version 2.04 will address all these issues. More fixes and changes are coming with Conan Exiles update 2.05.

Conan Exiles 2.04 Patch Notes – April 23, 2024
Adjusted Controller Targeting:
- Reduced unintended target changes by tweaking right stick input for locked targets.
NPC Base Respawns:
- Improved consistency of respawn for NPC-owned destructible bases.
Instant Death Fixes:
- Addressed instant death issues in locations like the Sinkhole and the Sacred Hunt Dungeon on Siptah.
Sprinting Continuity:
- Characters now sprint continuously when Sprint toggle is activated.
Location Log-In Fix:
- Resolved issue causing characters to log in at the wrong location after a server restart.
Friendly Thrall Behavior:
- Thralls and Followers placed before the Sacred Hunt no longer attack friendly Werehyena followers.
Inventory Management Enhancements:
Custom Split Window:
- Enabled within your inventory while Sorting is active.
Highlighting Clarity:
- Only one item highlighted after tab switching with Item Filtering on.
Responsive Inventory:
- Character inventory no longer freezes when merging stacks with Sorting and Filtering.
Stack Merging Reliability:
- Multiple stack merging of the same item remains functional after repeated use.
Gamepad Storage Navigation Update:
- Improved navigation on Gamepad:
- Use Left analogue stick or d-pad to move between storage spaces.
- Optionally, use Right analogue stick to instantly switch between storage types.
