Diablo 4 servers are currently down on all platforms including PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox. Since the last major patch, players are experiencing several issues with the game. Is Diablo 4 Down?
Yes, players are experiencing Diablo IV login and disconnection issues with the game server. It is possible that Diablo IV servers are down for backend server maintenance.
October 8, 2024: Due to a minor technical issue, the launch of Vessel of Hatred will be slightly delayed, though it is still expected to happen this evening. To ensure all players begin together across platforms, logins for Diablo IV will be locked at 4pm PDT. Players logged in before that time can remain in-game, but may experience disconnections as the team prepares for the launch. Steam players can download the 2.0.2 patch right now.
Update: Diablo 4 authentication servers are down, which may result in failed or slow login attempts. Blizzard is aware of this issue. A fix will roll out soon.
Update 2: Blizzard is investigating the login issues affecting Diablo IV and working to resolve these as soon as possible. Players may experience queues while we work on the issue.

How to fix Diablo 4 Server Connectivity Issue?
Be sure to allow any updates to install completely before you begin.
Run through the basics
Here are a few tips to note before delving any deeper:
- Restarting your routeris often the easiest and quickest way to resolve connectivity issues.
- Other bandwidth-heavy applicationson your network can be detrimental to your ability to connect. This includes, but is not limited to, streaming music, streaming video or movies, or downloading files.
Check PS4 and PS5 updates.
- Go to the Settings menu. now select System Software Update.
- Install any available updates. Follow the onscreen steps to complete the update.
Also, check for any available game updates.
Checking for updates on Xbox One
- Open the dashboard menu.
- SelectSettings from the bottom of the menu.
- Now, select All Settings.
- Open System and selectUpdates.
- SelectUpdate Console if the option becomes available. Follow the onscreen steps to complete the update.
