Bloons TD Battles 2 update 4.5 is rolling out on PC, iOS, Android & Steam. According to the official Bloons TD Battles 2 patch notes, the latest update introduces Neo Highway, major hero reworks for Benjamin & DJ Ben, UI improvements, and balance changes to keep gameplay engaging. Apart from this, the BTD Battles 2 update 4.5 also includes several bug fixes improve animations, abilities, and UI interactions.
Previously, a major Bloons TD Battles 2 update 1.5 added a new event (Speed Battles and Play with Fire), and Bling Season 6. Recently, BTDB2 update 1.10 also added a new hero: Agent Jericho. Unfortunately, players are still facing some issues with the game. Today’s BTD Battles 2 patch 4.5 will address a few of these issues.

New Map: Neo Highway
🏆 Community Winner: Based on u/G00dbot’s entry in the community map competition.
🛣 Limited Space: Strategic tower placement is crucial on this high-speed highway.
🚘 Speed Mechanics: Bloons move slower with traffic flow and faster against it.
🏍 Interactive Elements: The biker monkey can move to make space for towers.
🔓 Availability: Playable in Ranked, Clan Games (Lead Dungeon and above), Casual, and Event games.
General Changes
🛒 Shop UI: Improved clarity for free content and sales.
🎲 Hero Challenge: Now allows rerolling of random loadouts.
💾 DLC Auto-Download: DLCs now download automatically on desktop.

🎈 Bloon Boost Speed Modifier: +25% → +40%
💭 Goal: Keeping Bloons a strong threat amid stronger hero/tower synergies.

💰 2xx Razor Sharp Shots: $150 → $250
💰 4xx Juggernaut: $1,800 → $1,700
💰 x3x Triple Shot: $300 → $400
💭 Goal: Increasing Triple Darts cost while shifting top-path cost for better balance.
Glue Gunner
⏩ 5xx Bloon Solver Attack Cooldown: 0.25s → 0.4s
💭 Goal: Reducing attack speed to limit reapplication synergy with Scientist Gwen.

🍌 030 Monkey Bank End-of-Round Income: $550 → $450
🍌 130 Monkey Bank End-of-Round Income: $450 → $500

💭 Goal: Balancing Chemical Cocktail effectiveness, especially with Glue Gunner.
Benjamin
🍌 Level 1: Now benefits from 5xx Banana Central like a Banana Research Facility.
💻 Level 3: Biohack now affects +2 monkeys (6 total) and grants +1 extra damage (2 total).
🏪 Level 5: Bank Hack now applies to Marketplace.
⏩ Level 6: Cyber Security replaced with Boost Hack (-20% cooldown for Bloon/Tower Boosts).
⏩ Level 14: Boost Hack grants +1 additional boost of each type.
💭 Goal: Strengthening synergy with Banana Farms and introducing Boost Hack for a fresh niche.
DJ Ben Jammin’
🎵 Reflavored: All upgrades now have a DJ theme instead of hacking.
🔭 Level 1: Range increased by +5.
💸 Level 1+: Income now scales with monkeys in range rather than a flat amount.
🗣 Level 3: Good Vibes boosts damage for the farthest three monkeys of each type in range.
🤑 Level 5: Bank Hack replaced with Side Hustle (+6% non-Farm/Village income).
⏳ Level 6: Cyber Security replaced with Encore (-5% activated ability cooldown).
🗣 Level 19: Good Vibes now affects four monkeys of each type.
💭 Goal: Making DJ Ben stronger with a large crowd, shifting synergy from Farms to alternative income sources.
