Baldur’s Gate 3 update 1.006.300 is rolling out on PS5 and PC. According to the official BG3 1.006.300 patch notes, the latest hotfix addresses various bugs and issues, including Minthara’s behavior in Acts II and III and several gameplay and technical fixes. Apart from this, Baldur’s Gate 3 version 1.006.300 also includes stability fixes.
Previously, a big update 3 added the bard class, playable gnomes, Swarm AI, and countless other improvements and fixes. Unfortunately, since the last update, players have been facing various issues with the game. Today’s BG3 version 1.006.300 will fix a few of these issues. The upcoming BG3 update 1.006.400 will fix more issues.

BG3 Version 1.006.300 Patch Notes – February 29, 2024
Crash Safeguards:
- Introduced measures to prevent crashes when loading savegames, ensuring a return to the Main Menu in case of failure.
Split Screen Fix:
- Resolved issues causing the second player on split screen to encounter a black screen for 30 seconds.
Container Access:
- Fixed a bug preventing the opening of containers during trading when switching characters, eliminating a money exploit.
Combat Progression:
- Addressed a bug where environmental actions stalled combat progression, ensuring smoother gameplay.
Combat Stuck Fix:
- Rectified a bug causing players to become stuck in combat if bats remained after defeating Cazador.
Loot Duplication Fix:
- Eliminated an infinite loot bug that duplicated Herdmaster Skardjall’s Scale Mail upon removing the Whipping Cane.
Crime Dialogue Fix:
- Fixed spamming of crime dialogue for trespassing near the Steel Watch Foundry.
Cinematic Visuals:
- Corrected banding and shader issues in cinematics, eliminating VFX artifacts on faces from certain angles.
NPC Movement Fixes:
- Ensured Minthara’s proper following in Acts II and III, and Halsin’s movement to position in Act II.
Party Member Issue Fix:
- Resolved Minthara’s failure to leave the party after escorting her out of Moonrise Towers.
Conversation Bug Fix:
- Fixed characters falsely claiming to be busy when attempting to speak with them.
UI Improvements:
- Restored missing tab textures in the Trade UI for better navigation.
Trader Filter Tab Removal:
- Temporarily removed filter tabs for traders during bartering for further testing in future updates.
Cinematic Preloading Stability:
- Addressed a potential crash when preloading complex cinematics for improved stability.
