Among Us update 1.25 (1.025.000) is now available to download on PS4, PC and PS5. According to the official Among Us patch notes, the latest update introduces new roles, improved lobby settings, and various bug fixes to enhance the gameplay experience. Apart from this, Among Us patch 1.25 also includes various gameplay improvements.
Previously, a major update added various balancing, changes, and bug fixes. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing a number of issues with the game. Today’s Among Us version 1.25 will fix a few of these issues.

New Roles
New Crewmate Role – Tracker 📡
- Ability to track a Crewmate’s location via the map for a limited time.
- Useful for catching Impostors in a lie.
New Crewmate Role – Noisemaker 🔊
- Alerts Crewmates with a sound and visual indicator upon death.
- Helps Crewmates identify and catch the Impostor quickly.
New Impostor Role – Phantom 👻
- Ability to turn invisible for a limited time.
- Allows for strategic escapes and reappearances.
Lobby Settings
Lobby Interface Update
- Redesigned lobby settings interface, now accessible via a menu on the right side of the screen.
- Displays room code, map, number of Crewmates, privacy, and game setting presets.
Host and Crewmate Views
- Hosts can edit settings using the ‘Edit’ button.
- Crewmates can view current settings using the ‘View’ button.
Game Presets
- Core Settings: Classic gameplay with no extra roles.
- Roles Galore: Includes various roles like Tracker, Engineer, Scientist, Guardian Angel, Shapeshifter, and Phantom.
- Hide N Seek Presets:
- Pitch Dark: Hide without a flashlight.
- Flashlights: Use flashlights to navigate and spot the Seeker.

- Fixed ladder climb animation issues in The Fungle.
- Corrected Shapeshifter timer countdown during ladder climbs.
- Resolved appearance issues with Desolation of Skeld Pet.
- Color consistency in Quick Chat text fields.
- Fixed “Pending Account Deletion” message visibility on iOS.
- Corrected permission issues for transitioning child accounts.
- Scientist’s battery duration timer no longer blocked by the settings icon.
- Fixed layering issue with the Great Goalie visor and certain hats.
- Removed extra button during Inspect Sample task on Skeld.

- Practice Mode: Role switching while tracking a dummy causes indefinite tracking.
- Lobby: Incorrect icons and colors may display under certain conditions.
