Remedy Entertainment has released Alan Wake 2 update 1.200.004 details for PS5, PC(1.2.4) and Xbox(1.2.04). According to the official Alan Wake 2 1.200.004 update notes, the latest update introduces flashlight boosting during reloads, fixes shooting and trigger bugs. Apart from this, the Alan Wake 2 version 1.200.004 also enhances “The Lake House” area with resources and visual corrections, and improves localization and game stability.

General Updates
- Flashlight Boost: Players can now boost the flashlight during weapon reload, canceling the reload process.
Fixes
- Resolved an issue where players could not shoot after a partial weapon reload.
- Fixed a bug causing DualSense adaptive triggers to rumble incorrectly.
The Lake House: Fixes and Improvements
- Added additional resource boxes before the final boss fight to assist players.
- Corrected the timing of the opening cinematic for “The Lake House.”
- Fixed shadow banding in the final cinematic of “The Lake House.”
- Resolved a rare issue where players could get stuck in the elevator when returning to Sublevel 1.
- Painted walls on Sublevel 4 to align with gameplay visuals.
- Fixed Portuguese translation for the second computer puzzle hint.
- Applied various localization fixes.
Other Improvements
- Minor fixes and general stability enhancements.
Unfortunately, since the last major Alan Wake patch 1.13, players have been experiencing various bugs and issues. Alan Wake 2 patch 1.2.4 will address a few of these issues. More tweaks and changes are expected with Alan Wake 2 PS5 version 1.200.005.
