[Age of Empires 4] AOE4 Update 9.1.370 Patch Notes

Age of Empires 4 Definitive Edition (AOE4) update 9.1.370 is available to download on PC (Steam). According to AOE4 patch notes, the latest update focuses on stability, balance, and new features. Apart from this, Age of Empires 4 (AOE4) patch 9.1.370 also includes improved chat functionality on consoles, campaign progression accuracy, and performance enhancements.

Previously, a big update was released with new Maps, Spectator chat is now activated, and lots of bug fixes. Unfortunately, many players are still experiencing several issues while playing the game.

Today’s Age of Empires 4 patch 9.1.370 will fix a few of these issues.

AOE4 Patch 9.1.370 Notes – December 6, 2023

• Stability Fixes: Improvements to campaign and multiplayer stability, including server latency fixes that complement recent server maintenances.
• Map Adjustments: Several maps, including new ones introduced in the latest major update and expansion, have received balance changes and bug fixes.
• Localization Corrections: Issues in translations, especially in Chinese localizations, have been addressed, with the community’s help in identifying these issues.
• New Mod – Free Camera: A new official mod allows players to move the camera freely for videos and screenshots.
• Balance Changes: Focused on the Japanese and Byzantine civilizations and their variant civilizations, aiming to adjust the impact of new civilizations on gameplay.
• Seasonal Event – Tons o’ Toys: A winter event offering in-game rewards, running from mid-December to January 11th, 2024.
• Login Event: A special event starting mid-December, where logging in to Age of Empires IV rewards players with a present-themed sigil for their Coat of Arms.
• Seasonal Biome – Winter: A new winter biome is available in skirmish and custom lobbies until early 2024.
