[Age of Empires 4] AOE4 Update 7.1.113 Patch Notes

Age of Empires 4 Definitive Edition (AOE4) update 7.1.113 is available to download on PC (Steam). According to AOE4 patch notes, the latest update addressed queue dodging and cheating in ranked matches. Apart from this, Age of Empires 4 (AOE4) patch 7.1.113 also adds a new seasonal event called “Summer Vacation”.

Previously, a big update was released with new Maps, Spectator chat is now activated, and lots of bug fixes. Unfortunately, many players are still experiencing several issues while playing the game.

Today’s Age of Empires 4 patch 7.1.113 will fix a few of these issues.

AOE4 Patch 7.1.113 Notes – July 20, 2023

1. Seasonal Event: Summer Vacation: A new seasonal event called “Summer Vacation” will take place from July 25th to August 21st. Players can participate in challenges and earn in-game rewards.
2. Ranked Season Updates: The Map Monsters have left for the season, and they will no longer appear on ranked maps. The ranked map pool remains unchanged. The current ranked season will end on October 23rd at 11:59 pm PDT (Oct 24th at 06:59 UTC).
3. Ranked Rewards: The Ranked Rewards system has been improved. Players will now see the highest rank they’ve achieved this season on their profile and the multiplayer ranked screen.
4. Queue Dodging: The game servers’ backend has been updated to better detect when a player purposefully disconnects from a match. Queue dodging cooldown punishments will be applied more instantly, and disconnecting from a ranked 1v1 lobby or match will count as a loss in addition to the cooldown punishment.
5. Ranked Cheating: The development team is actively investigating cheating on the Ranked ladder, particularly in Teams games. Players are encouraged to report any instances of cheating, providing as much information as possible.
