[Age of Empires 4] AOE4 Update 11.0.782 Patch Notes

Age of Empires 4 Definitive Edition (AOE4) update 11.0.782 is available to download on PC (Steam). According to AOE4 patch notes, the latest update introduces the Summer Sights Event with new challenges and rewards, and launches Ranked Season Eight with updated map pools. Apart from this, Age of Empires 4 (AOE4) patch 11.0.782 also includes a new map, Socotra, and significant gameplay changes such as Attack Move behavior rework and naval updates.

Previously, a big update was released with new Maps, Spectator chat is now activated, and lots ofbug fixes.Unfortunately, many players are still experiencing several issues while playing the game.

Today’s Age of Empires 4 patch 11.0.782 will fix a few of these issues.

AOE4 Patch 11.0.782 Notes – July 18, 2024

New Content:

Summer Sights Event with 5 new challenges and rewards
Ranked Season Eight with updated map pools for 1v1 and Team Ranked
New Map: Socotra

Gameplay Changes:

Attack Move behavior reworked (can be reverted to “Legacy” in settings)
Sheep food reduced to 200, two additional sheep spawn under starting Town Center
Naval updates including Dhow and Canoe firing adjustments
Fishing Boat nerfs: reduced line of sight and increased train time

General Updates:

AI improvements for naval maps and Age Up focusing
UX/UI enhancements including population capacity notification
New Free-for-All map pool with veto option

Balance Changes:

Civilization-specific adjustments for all factions
Notable changes to Abbasid Dynasty, Byzantines, Delhi Sultanate, French, and Mongols
Variant civilization updates for Ayyubids, Jeanne d’Arc, and Zhu Xi’s Legacy

Bug Fixes:

Various crash fixes and performance improvements
Corrected issues with Fog of War, rally points, and unit selection
Fixed localization and UI-related bugs
