H1Z1 update 1.62 for PS4 is now available for players. According to the official H1Z1 1.62 patch notes, the new update has added new arcade mode – Nutcrack Attack and new holiday challenge. In addition, the latest H1Z1 version 1.62 also addressed issues related to server performance, framerate drop, disconnection, stuttering/lag, freezing, game crashing, and more.
Recently, an update was released with changes and gameplay improvements. Unfortunately, since the last patch, many players are experiencing a number of issues when trying to play the game. Today’s H1Z1 patch 1.62 is expected to fix all these issues. Check out more details below.

NEW ARCADE MODE – NUTCRACK ATTACK!
Soldiers at the ready! Grab your rifle and drop into Nutcrack Attack, a NEW Arcade Mode only available during the holidays. In this Solo mode, everyone starts off with a Nutcracker helmet and only certain handguns and scoped weapons are available. PLUS, place in the Top 3 during a Nutcrack Attack match to earn the below gifts each day (they’re yours to keep and use in any mode!):
- December 21 – Jolly Nutcracker Helmet
- December 22 – Jubilant Nutcracker Helmet
- December 23 – Serious Nutcracker Helmet
- December 24 – Greedy Nutcracker Helmet
- December 25 – Loving Nutcracker Helmet
- December 26 – Gingerbread ARV
Nutcrack Attack is available in Arcade Mode during the below times in each region:
- NA Arcade Mode: 12AM PST on Friday, December 21 through 11:59PM PST on Wednesday, December 26
- EU Arcade Mode: 12AM CET on Friday, December 21 through 11:59PM CET on Wednesday, December 26
Holiday Challenge
In addition to earning a new helmet each day, you can also score yourself the NEW Slay Ride Crate! Play 10 matches in ANY mode, and you’ll earn a Common Slay Ride Crate for each day during the Challenge. You can score one (1) Crate per day for a total of six (6) Crates maximum from December 21 – December 26.
