Fortnite Version 1.74 Update Patch Notes for PS4 and Xbox One

Fortnite update 1.74 is now rolling out for players on PS4 and Xbox One. According to the official Fortnite 1.74 patch notes, the new update has reverted the changes made to the gamepad options. In addition, Fortnite version 1.74 also includes fixes for issues related to framerate drop, lag, server performance, and more.

The previous update made adjustments to gamepad options by tuning controller inputs and accelerations to allow for more fine tuning when aiming. Unfortunately, after this changes, many players were experiencing a number of issues when trying to play the game on the consoles. Today’s Fortnite 1.74 update is expected to fix all these issues.

According to the game developers, they also lowered the dead-zone used for aiming on Xbox One controllers. In doing this devs discovered and fixed a bug that slightly changed Aim Sensitivity for controllers. This means you may need to adjust your sensitivity to get that “just right” feeling back, but you’ll no longer experience the change in aim acceleration.
