WWE 2K23 patch 1.09 details released for PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox One. According to the WWE 2K23 version 1.09 patch notes, the update contains gameplay optimizations and stability fixes. Apart from this, the WWE 2K23 update 1.09 also includes performance improvements.

- Reenabled 8-player online on Xbox One, which was temporarily disabled in v1.08.
- Added stability fixes.
- Added performance improvements.
The following changes were added previously.
- Addressed reported concerns of a crash that may occur within Create-A-Superstar when customizing for an extended period of time.
- Addressed reported concerns regarding memory-related crashes that may occur on PlayStation 5 and PC.
- Addressed reported exploits within MyFaction.
- Addressed reported issue in yRise where players would be sent back to the main menu instead of continuing a storyline.
- Addressed issues related to MyRISE
- Fixed game crashing issues.
- Random stuttering/framerate drops have been addressed.
- Bugs related to animations have been resolved.
- Gameplay stability has been improved with new fixes.
- Overall performance improvements have been made.
