World War Z update 1039 is available to download on PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox One. According to the World War Z 1.75 patch notes, the latest update introduces seven Weapon Perks, six Mutators, new Horde Mode challenges, Chibi Bunko and Daniela Weapon Skin Packs, Xbox Play Anywhere support, and new portrait frames while improving Horde Mode UI. Apart from this, Today’s World War Z patch 1039.000 also fixes drone grenade damage, audio issues, trinket visuals, and multiple perk descriptions.

- Goalkeeper: Prevent zombies from damaging the last gate during four waves in a single Challenge Map match.

- Force Method: Place mortars seven times on Challenge Maps.
- Buyer: Spend 1,500 resources on Challenge Maps.
- Rotation: Eliminate 1,000 zombies on Challenge Maps.

Custom Portrait Frames
- Among the Dead: Complete any chapter of The Walking Dead Episode on Extreme difficulty without being pinned down.
- Ninja: Kill 1,000 unsuspecting zombies.
- Head Hunter: Kill 10,000 zombies with headshots.

Horde Mode UI
- Store now uses different colors to show why items cannot be purchased.
- Added labels explaining purchase restrictions.
- Scoreboard now displays earned gold and blue coins along with the next wave rewards.
General
- Added Xbox Play Anywhere support for Microsoft Store digital owners.
- Enabled cross-save support for progress, saves, achievements, and purchased content between Xbox and PC.
- Updated PROS save transfers to use a manual button in the Save Transfer menu.

Gameplay
- Prevented Myopia and Shaky Hands mutators from appearing together in Horde Mode Challenge.
- Fixed drone grenades from the On a Bender perk damaging the player.

- Fixed an issue preventing some skin packs from unlocking in WWZ GOTY Edition and WWZ GOTY Edition Upgrade on Epic Games Store.
Audio
- Fixed missing Heavy Assault Shotgun firing sounds.
- Fixed missing voice lines when searching for or picking up a key in The Walking Dead Episode Chapter 1.

Previously, WWZ update 1.55 added significant additions including new mutators, weapon perks, and quality-of-life improvements. Unfortunately, since the last major patch, players are still facing various issues with the game. Today’s World War Z version 1.75 will address a few of these issues.
