World War Z update 1037 is available to download on PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox One. According to the World War Z 1.74 patch notes, the latest update introduces Toxic Commando–themed trinkets and resolves several stability and gameplay issues. Crashes related to bot healing interruptions and post-Extinction map loading were fixed, along with a Chapter 3 objective soft lock. Apart from this, Today’s World War Z patch 1037.000 also corrects Oksana Orlovskaya’s menu animation and updates the “Sharing Is Caring” mutator description.

New Content
- Added cross-promotional trinkets themed after John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando.
How to get a trinket in World War Z:
- Link World War Z to PROS.
- Link John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando to PROS (this step is only available after the game’s release on March 12).
- After linking your accounts, the reward will automatically become available in World War Z.
Resolved Issues
- Fixed a crash when interrupting a bot’s healing and entering an incapacitated state.
- Fixed a crash when attempting to load into a map after Extinction mode.
- Fixed a soft lock during the “Protect Mia” objective in Chapter 3, “A Broken Peace.”
- Fixed an animation issue with Oksana Orlovskaya in the main menu.
- Fixed the description for the “Sharing Is Caring” mutator.
Previously, WWZ update 1.55 added significant additions including new mutators, weapon perks, and quality-of-life improvements. Unfortunately, since the last major patch, players are still facing various issues with the game. Today’s World War Z version 1.74 will address a few of these issues.
