World War Z update 1.44 is rolling out on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. According to the World War Z 1.44 patch notes, the latest update adds new content (Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Chibi Trinkets). Apart from this, Today’s World War Z patch 1.44 also includes various gameplay changes and improvements.
Previously, WWZ update 1.40 added Horde Mode XL with a new map, a new weapons progression system, a new Challenge Mode with mutators, and new weapons. Recently, WWZ update 1.41 also added quality-of-life changes and fixes. Unfortunately, since the last major patch, players are still facing a number of issues with the game. Today’s World War Z version 1.44 will address a few of these issues.

- Fixed a bug when rats now have less health than usual.
- Improved interaction with bots when using heavy weapon transfer commands.
- Fixed a bug when bots are falling incapacitated by zombies instantly, even on low difficulties.
- WWZ update 1.44 added correct icons for Dual Sai abilities in the main menu.
- Fixed damaged display for Dual Sai.
- Wheatgrass perk with the Die Hard mutator now correctly shows and calculates the player’s health.
- Hunger mutator now only counts active kills.
- Fixed an issue with unlocking the Wolf Grin perk for HAMR-17.
- WWZ version 1.44 fixed an issue with MK110 and the active Headhunter perk. The player lost the ability to heal, sprint, and use a shop in Horde Mode.
PC
- Added the option to select classic vibration when using DualSense.
- Added DualSense support for the Microsoft Store version.
- Fixed bugs for some players with DualSense haptic feedback.
PlayStation 5
- Slight increase in performance.
- WWZ patch 1.44 added the option to select classic vibration when using DualSense.

- Improved performance in 4K resolution.
PlayStation 4
- Fixed crashes during long sessions in Horde Mode.
