Omega Force has released a Wild Hearts update on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S players. According to the official Wild Hearts patch notes, the update adds a long list of bug fixes and gameplay changes. Apart from this, the Wild Hearts patch also includes stability and performance improvements.
Previously, day 1 patch added minor tweaks and changes to the game. Recently, update 1.04 was released with PC and console performance improvements. Unfortunetly, since the release, players are still facing various bug fixes and stuttering issues. Today’s Wild Hearts update will fix a few of these issues.

Wild Hearts Patch Notes – April 6, 2023
Fixes
- Fixed an issue where dodging was still possible while no Stamina was available after firing the Hand Cannon following a sliding dodge.
- Fixed an issue where an incorrect number of bases were displayed after deploying a Ki Base just prior to changing areas.
- Fixed an issue where it took longer than expected to be able to move or dodge after being staggered while using a Hand Cannon
- Fixed an issue where the number of Hand Cannon bases would sometimes remain at a lower number than intended.
- Fixed an issue with the movement transition after landing following Savage Dance with a Bladed Wagasa.
- Fixed an issue where, when the third hit of Bladed Wagasa’s Trey Star increased the Spindance level to level 2, the attack would end on the fourth hit.
- Fixed an issue where a parry with a Bladed Wagasa incorrectly became an aerial parry following certain ground attacks.
- Fixed an issue where it was impossible to parry after starting to move with the Bladed Wagasa drawn or after healing.
- Fixed an issue where it was still possible to receive damage even after activating the Instinct Parry skill.
- Fixed an issue where the Bladed Wagasa’s multi-hit attacks, such as Trey Star, sometimes had a reduced number of hits depending on the frame rate settings.
- Fixed an issue when sometimes it was possible to still receive damage even after a successful parry with a Bladed Wagasa.

- Fixed an issue in which the mutation level of the karakuri staff could be increased beyond the limit displayed.
- [PC] Fixed an issue in which the first attack of “Unbound: Iai Sunder Slash” with karakuri katana would not hit when the FPS limit was set to 30.
- [PS5/Xbox X|S] Fixed an issue in which the first attack of “Unbound: Iai Sunder Slash” with karakuri katana would not hit when Graphical Priority was set to Prioritize Performance.
- Fixed an issue where giant kemono would continuously move in a single direction during online co-op.
- Fixed an issue where dragon karakuri would disappear after moving to another hunting ground if they were hit by the maul’s “Power Smash” or by specific kemono attacks.
- Fixed an issue where chain trap would sometimes not activate when the player experienced a drop in frame rate.
- Fixed an issue where Amaterasu would stop moving when players joined as guests in the “Hunting Song – Rising Glissando” and “Hunting Encore – Auspice of Minato” quests.
- Fixed an issue where sometimes after progressing Minato requests during online co-op, the subsequent Minato request would not appear.
- Fixed an issue during online co-op where exiting a session just before death could change one’s story progression.
- Fixed an issue where the story objective “Hunt the kemono causing the fire” would occasionally not reflect the correct progress.
- Fixed an issue that could cause the game to crash when loading into Minato.
- Fixed an issue where sound would not play on certain sound cards.
- Fixed an issue where small kemono spawned in greater numbers than intended.
- Fixed and improved other miscellaneous issues.
