According to the official Warhammer Vermintide 2 patch notes, the latest update improves Elven Axe combat performance, corrects War Pick critical damage behavior, and restores intended Griffonfoot ammo values. Apart from this, Warhammer Vermintide 2 patch 1.80 also resolves several crashes tied to Steam authentication, enemy interactions, and Skittergate progression.

Features & Tweaks
- Raised Elven Axe Push Attack damage against the first enemy hit.
- Increased the number of enemies hit before Push Attack damage falloff begins for the Elven Axe.
- Boosted War Pick Heavy attack critical damage against Super Armoured enemies for both charged and uncharged strikes.
Fixes
- Fixed a crash tied to Steam authentication failures and added a retry system when authentication does not succeed.
- Connection reliability improvements added for some authentication-related issues.
- Reverted the unintended ammo increase for Griffonfoot.
- Fixed an issue where War Pick Heavy attacks dealt reduced critical damage to Armoured enemies.
- Resolved a crash caused when a Warrior Priest of Sigmar was punched repeatedly by a Chaos Warrior during a match.
- Fixed an issue preventing 1H Axe and Elven Axe from triggering “On Charged Attack Hit” talents.
- Removed a stuck location in Skittergate and added protection against invincibility problems during the Skittergate sequence.
Previously, a big update 4.7 added contains the new presence to Chaos Wastes — Be’lakor!
