Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader Update 1.1.58 Patch Notes

Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader update 1.1.58 is available to download on PC(Steam). According to the official Rogue Trader patch notes, the latest update introduces several fixes, optimizations, and a new quality of life feature for automatic item re-equipping in Act III. Apart from this, WH 40K Rogue Trader patch 1.1.58 also resolve crashes and freezes related to various in-game actions.

Previously, a big Rogue Trader update 1.0 introduced CrossPlay between Steam and the Microsoft Store and adds the new Elite Resistance condition. Unfortunately, players are facing several problems when trying to play the game on the consoles. Today’s Warhammer Rogue Trader update 1.1.58 will solve a few of these problems.

WH40K Rogue Trader Patch 1.1.58 Notes – April 18, 2024

System and Stability Fixes:

• Entering Mutants Lair: Fixed a crash that occurred when trying to enter the Mutants Lair from the main menu.
• Syphon Life Ability: Resolved a game freeze and potential crash caused by using the Syphon Life ability through a hologram positioned behind cover.
• Save File Corruption: Addressed an issue where saving and immediately exiting the game could lead to save file corruption.
• FPS Drops: Fixed frame rate drops, especially noticeable when attacking Khymerae with burst attacks.
• Freezing at Footfall: Resolved freezing that occurred near the shuttle at Footfall.
• Tactical Respite Talent: Corrected a freezing issue triggered by the Tactical Respite Master Tactician talent when reloading a weapon near another Master Tactician with the same talent.
• Dodging Units: Prevented units from entering an already occupied tile while dodging, avoiding visual glitches and performance issues caused by certain damaging movements.

Narrative Fixes:

• Forgotten System Event: Ensured that an event in the Forgotten System completes as intended.
• Dialogue Fixes: Addressed various dialogue issues, including broken answers and bugs related to character actions during events.
• Quest Corrections: Fixed bugs affecting quest progression and dialogue interactions, ensuring smoother narrative flow.
• Encounter Timing: Adjusted the timing of certain encounters to ensure a more logical sequence of events.

Mechanical Adjustments:

• Daemonopathy Ability: Modified the Daemonopathy ability to knock targets prone without causing excessive damage.
• Siege Navigation: Prevented players from getting stuck during the siege on Von Valancius Palace by adjusting movement options.
• Combat Resolution: Fixed issues with combat not ending properly in specific encounters, ensuring smoother gameplay progression.
• Companion Retraining: Addressed a bug where retraining could cause companions to lose bonuses from their archetypes.

Item and Location Fixes:

• Duelist Uniform: Corrected interactions with character stats to resolve leveling issues.
• Pyromancy Staff: Ensured that the Inferno Pyromancy staff’s burning effect deals damage as intended.
• Combat Placement: Fixed issues with combat initiation and character movement in certain locations.

Visual and User Interface Improvements:

• Rogue Trader Appearance: Resolved a visual glitch where the Rogue Trader’s copy in the Epitaph would sometimes appear naked.
• Item Management: Added a quality of life feature to automatically equip items received back in Act III into their original slots, where possible.

Sound, Music, and Space Fixes:

• Audio Adjustments: Fixed excessive sounds on the Heretical version of the voidship bridge.
• Colony Management: Adjusted Colony Complacency effects and fixed bugs related to resource calculations and profit factor.

Miscellaneous:

• Credits Update: Added additional contributors to the credits and Shrine of Remembrance.
