War Thunder update 2.42 for PS4 is now rolling out for players. According to the official War Thunder 2.42 patch notes, the new update has added various bug fixes and gameplay improvements. Apart from this, the latest War Thunder version 2.42 has fixed a bug that leads to the terrain being displayed black on some Linux-based systems.
Recently, anupdatewas released which added the first supersonic aircraft, Italian ground forces, guided Air-to-Air missiles, new ships, ground vehicles and aircraft, and much more. War Thunder Update 2.42 patch notes
- Aiming mechanics for naval battles have been improved. Guns’ aim indicators will now follow the vertical guidance level more precisely. Previous indicators showed “ready to fire” before synchronizing with vertical guidance level and first shot could land far above target.
- The algorithm of preserving distance to the target has been changed. Now, if you lock onto a target, your rangefinder ignores allied ships and landscape elements (“bouncing aim”).
- A Bug that lead to the terrain being displayed black on some Linux-based systems has been fixed.
War Thunder version 2.42for PS4
- Bug with visual artifacts on trees on some locations has been fixed.
War Thunder update 2.42 is now available for download on PS4 and Xbox One.
