VTOL VR Update Patch Notes (AH-94 Helicopter & Multiplayer) – Jan 7, 2022

VTOL VR update 1.3.0 (January 7, 2022) is now available to download on PC players. According to the official VTOL patch notes, the latest update added AH-94 Attack Helicopter and Multiplayer to the game.

Previously, a big update was released with character balancing, gameplay changes, and a long list of bug fixes. Unfortunately, many players are still experiencing a number of issues while playing the game.

Today’s VTOL VR patch 1.3.0 will address a few of these issues. Check out more details below.

What is new in today’s VTOL VR January 7 Update 1.3.0?

The AH-94 Attack Helicopter DLC is now available!

The AH-94 is a twin-turboshaft attack helicopter with a tandem cockpit for two pilots. It features nose mounted optical sensors, and can mount a 20mm rotary cannon or 30mm chain gun. It is capable of carrying various air-to-ground missiles, rockets, and other equipment on 4 wing pylons, as well as two small air-to-air missiles on each wing tip.
The aircraft’s sleek design, retracting landing gear, modern rotor blade design and powerful engines allow it to cruise for over 400nm or sprint at over 200 knots.

Multiplayer!

Also, VTOL VR has been updated to v1.3.0, making multiplayer available for all, although the multiplayer mode is still in active development.

In its current state, there are several 6-player cooperative and 12-player PVP missions to play.

VTEditor and Steam Workshop support for multiplayer missions are not quite ready yet, but that will be the very next step. You can expect to see more multiplayer missions pop up in each coming update, until custom missions are fully supported.
