Valorant Update 7.0 Patch Notes: New Agent Deadlock

Valorant update 7.0 is available for PC players. According to the official Valorant 7.00 patch notes, the latest update adds a new agent named Deadlock and new team deathmatch more. Apart from this, the latest Valorant patch 7.0 also includes various changes and bug fixes

Previously, a big update added a new Agent Neon, Battlepass, and skinline. Recently, a hotfix was also released. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing a number of issues when trying to play the game online. Today’s Valorant 7 will fix a few of these issues.

Valorant Patch Notes 7.0 – June 27, 2023

New Agent: A new agent named Deadlock has been added to the game. Deadlock is a Norwegian Sentinel who uses a gadget called the Drone Deployer. This gadget deploys a swarm of drones that can be used to scout ahead, plant spike, and defuse spike.

Team Deathmatch: A new game mode called Team Deathmatch has been added to the game. Team Deathmatch is a 5v5 mode where the first team to reach 50 kills wins.

  • Progression Changes: The progression system in Valorant has been overhauled. Players will now earn Kingdom Credits (KC) for completing matches, challenges, and other activities. KC can be used to purchase cosmetics, agents, and other items from the in-game store.
  • New Battle Pass: A new Battle Pass has been added to the game. The Battle Pass includes a variety of cosmetic items, including weapon skins, player cards, and sprays.

  2. Accessory Store
    • Players can use Kingdom Credits to purchase cosmetic accessories from previous Battle Passes, including player cards, sprays, titles, and gun buddies.
  3. Agent Store
    • Streamlined the Agent acquisition process.
    • Players can unlock Agents using VP, Recruitment Tokens, or Kingdom Credits.
  4. Agent Recruitment Event
    • Each new Agent launch is accompanied by an Agent Recruitment Event.
    • During the event, players earn XP towards the new Agent automatically.
    • Agents cannot be unlocked with Kingdom Credits or Recruitment Tokens during the event, but VP can still be used.
  5. Agent Gear
    • Agent-themed gear is now available for purchase using Kingdom Credits.
    • There are now 10 levels of Agent Gear for each Agent, replacing the previous 10 levels of Agent Contract.
    • Level 5 grants a flat amount of Kingdom Credits.

BUG FIXES

General

  1. Spray Wheel
    • Fixed an issue where the Spray Wheel did not appear in-game during load-in due to packet loss. This issue should occur less frequently now.
  2. Region Restriction
    • Fixed a bug that allowed players to make purchases outside of their account’s region.
  3. Opposing Team’s Bullet Tracers
    • Fixed an issue where players could see the opposing team’s bullet tracers during the Buy Phase.

    • Fixed an issue where Chamber’s Rendezvous (E) teleportation could be interrupted if the player was Suppressed mid-animation.
  2. Yoru
    • Fixed an issue where Yoru’s Gatecrash (E) teleportation could be interrupted if the player was Suppressed mid-animation.
  3. Omen
    • Fixed an issue where Omen’s From the Shadows (X) teleportation could be canceled if the player was Suppressed while forming.
  4. Cypher
    • Fixed a bug where Cypher’s Spycam (E) could be placed on Lotus’ rotating doors.
  5. Sage
    • Fixed an issue where Sage’s Barrier Orb (C) would sometimes rotate multiple times from a single button press during placement.
  6. Cypher (Buy Phase)
    • Fixed issues on certain maps where Cypher could not pick up his Cyber Cage (C) during the Buy Phase.
  7. Killjoy
    • Fixed an issue where Killjoy’s Alarmbot (Q) could be destroyed from a farther distance than intended by Raze’s Boom Bot (C).
  8. Reyna
    • Fixed an issue where the frame rate would decrease when Reyna was healing from Devour (Q).

    • Fixed an issue where the Chinese Baidu Pinyin input method could only type English in chat.
