Valheim update 0.221.12 is available on PC (Steam) and Xbox One. According to the official Valheim patch notes, the latest update improved radial menu selection and restored gamepad crouch behavior. Apart from this, Valheim patch 0.221.12 also fixes graphics, audio, Vulkan startup crashes, and modding stability.

Added release-to-select behavior, allowing emote selection by releasing the radial menu button/key while held.

Restored crouching on gamepad to a single-press action after it was unintentionally changed to press-and-hold.

Fixed resolution changes behaving incorrectly in windowed mode.

Corrected issues preventing graphics settings from applying properly after updating from earlier versions.

Previously, a major Valheim update 0.212.7 added Valheim Mistlands update added new contents, a new biome, 9 new creatures and Mistlands boss. Unfortunately, players are still facing various issues with the game. Today’s Valheim game update 0.221.12 will address a few of these issues.
